EDITORIAL: Joe BIden's Fears

"Mark my words," Biden told donors at a Seattle fund-raiser Sunday night.

"It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America.

"Watch. We're going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy".

Most sheep in America don't need to be controlled as the very threat of force is enough to keep them in line. Most Americans are more afraid of discomfort and death than they are of slavery.

CQ Transcript: Colin Powell on NBC's 'Meet the Press' ....

Is this a warning or a Freudian slip?

< SNIP >

POWELL: I would start with talking to the American people and talking to the world, and conveying a new image of American leadership, a new image of America's role in the world.

The problems will always be there, and there's going to be a crisis come along in the 21st or 22nd of January that we don't even know about right now.

Note from LH:

It seems Joe Biden has also delivered a 'warning to the world'. You can read Rayelan's commentary on this 'linked above'.

We will not call two warnings of this magnitude a mere coincidence. Something BIG is headed our way. Both Joe Biden and Colin Powell are CFR members.

This year, the inauguration date for the new President of the United States will be January 20, 2009.

G, you are correct, Colin Powell is stating rather definitively here - 'There's going to be a crisis which will come along on the 21rst or 22nd of Jaunuary.' And, Powell further comments: 'we do not even know about the crisis right now'.

Powell also states: "We’re going to meet our overseas obligations."

We know there are those in the current administration who sold false debt instruments to foreign countries which include Russia and China. VK Durham, C. Story and even Casper have covered this in depth. These foreign debts have been hanging over America's head for some time now.

Will the imminent crisis mentioned here be financial (on a grand scale) ... or, will the crisis be something of even greater magnitude? We don't know.

Apparently, Colin Powell does know what this crisis will be. This is not a man who usually makes idle statements. Especially, when specific dates are given. It would seem he has perhaps received an internal briefing on this subject, and he was asked to leak this information to the public.

Colin Powell has also stated quite clearly - Obama (if elected) would be a 'transitional President'. The question is: what are we transitioning to?

When I hear the term 'crisis situation,' this always brings to mind - the very old and frequently used - 'Hegelian model'.

The statement made in this interview does not provide clear transparency. It certainly does wave a red flag which gets our attention. Joe Biden also waved a red flag with a warning.

Thank you very much for sharing this significant and definitive 'time-stamped prediction'.

This is a time to pray for our nation.

Blessings,

Ladyhawke

Why would any nation desire to test his mettle when international unification is the reason for his existence?

American Spectator....

"Posted by Philip Klein on 10.21.08 @ 10:00AM

Madeline Albright has called Biden's warning about an inevitable crisis if Obama is elected president a "statement of fact." But the key thing to remember about Biden's comments are not that he merely predicted a crisis -- I'm sure you can find clips somewhere of Republicans saying the same -- but that Biden specificially said it would be "a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy." In other words, a crisis that would otherwise not have occured will happen now merely to test Obama. So according to Biden, by voting for McCain, you'd be sparing the country this manufactured international crisis."

There are many references to her comment wherein she AGREES with Biden.

Biden specifically mentions Kennedy.

Fellow White Anglos;

After much thought I've arrived at what I consider an undeniable truth; white Americans of European descent are the most diverse voting block in the world. Most have no problem voting for people of different colors, religions, or other various ethnic backgrounds. The same *isn't true* of black Americans, Hispanic Americans or Asian Americans, etc. These groups tend to always choose a candidate from their own ethnic background.

PS: To the WG'ers out there please print this comment out and stick it to you fridge so that the next time you go for a bowl of ice cream and a stack of mallomars this will smack you in the face.

#24. To: bluegrass, the thread (#22)

email making the rounds -

Subject: This will make you think about your retirement and your future!

The web site listed takes you to the Wachovia Bank... It is a matter of public record what has been said..

THIS WILL CHANGE YOUR RETIREMENT

For those among you who have more money than you will ever need, save your time and delete this email.

For the rest of us who are still working with mortgages, children and grandchildren or retired living on a pension and or Social Security perhaps you will take a couple of minutes to read the proposed changes in the American tax system.

Sharing this email with others can make a difference on November 4, 2008; for our citizens and our country.

INTERESTING DATA JUST RECEIVED ON TAXES

This is something you should be aware of so you don't get blind-sided. This is really going to catch a lot of families off guard. It should make you worry.

Proposed changes in taxes after 2008 General election:

CAPITAL GAINS TAX

MCCAIN 0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples) McCain does not propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

OBAMA 28% on profit from ALL home sales

How does this affect you? If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement income.

DIVIDEND TAX

MCCAIN 15% (no change)

OBAMA 39.6%

How will this affect you? If you have any money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will now be paying nearly 40% of the money earned on taxes if Obama become president. The experts predict that higher tax rates on dividends and capital gains would crash the stock market yet do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.

INCOME TAX

MCCAIN (no changes)

Single making 30K - tax $4,500 Single making 50K - tax $12,500 Single making 75K - tax $18,750 Married making 60K- tax $9,000 Married making 75K - tax $18,750 Married making 125K - tax $31,250

OBAMA (Reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts) Single making 30K - tax $8,400 Single making 50K - tax $14,000 Single making 75K - tax $23,250 Married making 60K - tax $16,800 Married making 75K - tax $21,000 Married making 125K - tax $38,750

Under Obama your taxes will more than double! How does this affect you?

No explanation needed. This is pretty straight forward.

INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

OBAMA Restore the inheritance tax

How does this affect you? Many families have lost businesses, farms and ranches, and homes that have been in their families for generations because they could not afford the inheritance tax. Those willing their assets to loved ones will not only lose them to these taxes.

NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA

* New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than 2400 square feet

* New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren't high enough already)

* New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water, electricity)

* New taxes on retirement accounts and last but not least....

* New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries!!!

Thank You
