Did you notice that this paper says he was born in HONOLULU ??!! Notwithstanding that his stepdad may have fudged on the boy's nationality (AND name AND religion) to get him into school in Indonesia, US law does not allow American-born children to be divested of their US citizenship, even by both parents, during their minority. At worst, Obama might have then had a dual citizenship, both US and Indonesian. That would hardly be a disqualifier; Michelle Bachman, a Republican contender in 2012, was - right up through Election Day - a dual citizen with US and Swiss citizenships (she relinquished the Swiss citizenship AFTER the Republican Convention - and nobody made an issue of it during the campaign).

I will assume you are correct that Indonesia does not allow dual citizenships. Also someone else's claim that Indonesian schools are closed to non-Muslims. It seems obvious to me that Stepdad Soetoro fibbed on the paperwork to get little Barack squared away at a school in Indonesia - he fibbed about the boy's name, religion, and he may have fibbed about the boy's citizenship - and I wouldn't be surprised if money was passed as well - to get Barack into a local school. The point, however, is that under US law little Barack, having been born a US citizen, as shown by the fact that he was on his mother's US passport, could not be deprived of his US citizenship while a minor, even by act of both parents. What was pretended to the Indonesian school does not affect that.
