Correspondence with a traitor in the U.S. Senate:

Dear Mr. Scheidt:

Thank you for contacting me about the current financial crisis. I appreciate having the benefit of your comments on this matter.

I, like many Texans, am angry and frustrated that the United States is in the current financial crisis. As a strong supporter of the free market, I am opposed to unnecessary government intervention in the economy. As you know, the federal government has recently taken several steps to ensure that our financial system remains stable for the growth of our economy. Any actions by the federal government must be temporary and limited. Furthermore, any taxpayer money that is used to support our troubled economy must be subject to strict oversight and be repaid—in full—to the American people. Hard-working, financially responsible Texans should not have to pay for the irresponsible behavior of corporate executives who abused their positions. These executives must now be held fully accountable under the law.

The current financial crisis was caused, to a large extent, by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac—two government sponsored enterprises that played a central role in the much maligned mortgage market by guaranteeing loans to individuals who could not pay them back. Together, these two agencies own or guarantee nearly half of the nation’s $12 trillion mortgage market. I have long advocated that Congress reform both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in an effort to protect taxpayers. In 2006, I urged the Senate Majority Leader to bring reform legislation before the full Senate after reports that Fannie Mae intentionally overstated its earnings by $10.6 billion. This reform legislation would have increased oversight and taken steps to protect taxpayers from the risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac posed to our economy. Regrettably, the Senate did not consider these reforms because special interest groups lobbied their Congressional allies to prevent this legislation from being debated.

Furthermore, risky business practices by irresponsible financial institutions have caused great stress on our credit market, limiting the amount of credit available to both individuals and businesses. America’s system of credit is the lifeblood of our economy as it affects thousands of purchases and investments made in our country each day. Without access to credit, small businesses cannot pay their employees and working families cannot receive the loans necessary to send their children to college or purchase a new home or car. It is critical for our economy that the financial crisis be prevented from spreading to families and businesses across Texas which would result in many Texans losing their jobs, diminished college funds for their children, and a loss of hard-earned retirement savings.

Finally, it is imperative that all parties associated with the current financial crisis are aggressively investigated and that any corporate executives found to be involved in criminal activities are swiftly prosecuted. I intend to ensure that a thorough criminal investigation is conducted and that those responsible for violating any criminal laws of the United States are held accountable. As such, I have called on the Attorney General to begin a criminal investigation of executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. It is because of their poor—and possibly criminal—business practices that American taxpayers and our nation’s economy are in jeopardy. Soon after the Attorney General received my request, the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced an investigation of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and multiple Wall Street financial firms.

I appreciate the opportunity to represent Texans in the United States Senate and you may be certain that I will keep your views in mind as the 110th Congress draws to a close. Thank you for taking the time to contact me.

Sincerely,

JOHN CORNYN United States Senator

----- Original Message ----- From: SenateWebmail@cornyn.senate.gov To: dscheidt@amaonline.com Sent: Wednesday, October 22, 2008 11:33 PM Subject: Thank You For Contacting My Office

Dear Mr Cornyn,

I like many Texans think that you and your colleagues in the Senate were out of bounds by initiating the bailout after the House of Representatives had rejected the notion. All of your frustration related to this bailout cannot compare to the frustrations being felt by ordinary citizens like my sister ond millions of others that have been tricked into 401K plans and other pension investments that are being killed by those felonious financiers of you and your colleagues in D.C. (District of Collusion).

What you and your colleagues have done is also criminal, bordering on treason. The CONgress of the united States has sat idly on its collective ass since 1913 observing the bankruptcy of this country continue through a variety of stages while the criminal banking cabal that appears to own the sell-outs in CONgress siphons off the wealth Americans have earned. A mere 20 years passed before FDR called in the gold and implemented more of the socialist agenda to compensate for the Federal Reserve Act's destructive impact upon the economic conditions in America. The criminal bankers and the corporations that have grown up around them have enslaved your fellow Americans but they have done it with the collusion of CONgress. How and by what authority could CONgress legislate away the CONstitutionally authorized monetary DOCTRINE in furtherance of the fiat "federal" reserve fraud that now has self-serving bankers running the country, and your ilk licking their boots ?

Further: The CONstitution at Article 1 section 10 hasn't been amended to authorize this GRAND THEFT, nor have the States ever voted to authorize it, yet today we are being bullied by you and the bankers that your ilk have empowered by violating our rights, your oaths of office and any reasonable interpretation of the CONstitution meant to restrain power mongering criminals from raping America. Even though this CONgress didn't initiate the fraudulent "federal reserve act" it has done nothing to repeal it. Treason by ommission has the same negative impact upon the nation as did the original treasonous acts of the 1913 and subsequent CONgresses in colluding with the money changers through insidious legislative actions.

Further: The "federal" reserve act has served to change the nature of our laws from that of common-law to some alien form of maritime (commercial) law that changes the functionality intended by the separation of powers doctrine to a DICTATORSHIP of the executive while reducing CONgress to the status of "comic relief". The country has been tranformed from a CONstitutional Republic founded upon CONstitutional law into a commercial dictatorship ruled over by the FEDERAL RESERVE. This condition has been operated against the people through CONgressional FRAUD.

Further: This "federal" abomination has spread its slimy tentacles from D.C. out into the formerly sovereign States reducing them to mere subsidiaries of a criminal banking enterprise that privatizes profitable entities for the benefit of the well healed and foists the loser propositions onto the backs of the people.

In concluding this message to you, Mr. Cornyn, let me speak frankly. America has been sold out by a long list of traitors like yourself. Incompetence has continually been the excuse when criminality has been the fact. A trusting and gullible public has afforded scum like you and the multi-national, banker funded, elite interests the ability to ship our jobs overseas while you in CONgress have invited more uneducated and unemployed aliens into the country, thereby polluting it. The good people of this country have been bilked into a bankrupt state, debtors to Chinese communists if you can believe that, and in the process have completely lost their ability to control their own destiny. The shame to be shared by you and your colleagues in CONgress will be your legacy. Your children will suffer the results of your ignorance and greed.

Very Disrespectfully, Doug Scheidt

Muchas gracias, Senor~ ... (I'm preparing for the ultimate irony, besides I'm an UNDOCUMENTED WORKER myself !)

There is no honor in bending one's knee to the banking elites that are robbing the children you claim to love of their future. Soon they'll convince those very same children that you deserve to be eliminated ... and they may be right.

It's amazing; I can't just 'print up' my labor out of thin air like the Master-peckerwoods running the Feral Reserve create 'money' out of cotton and ink !

I explained the "fractional reserve" con game to my dearly departed dad one day and he said "too bad Jesse James didn't know about that, otherwise he'd never had to saddle a horse" !

That's a good one.

There once was a famous (infamous) bank robber who was asked "Why do you rob banks"?

His answer was "Cause that's where the money is".

That is a superb letter.
