Here's another shocker for you: I despise Obummer because of his political philosophy. At most I refer to him as the Mulatto From Chicago.
The best and first guarantor of our neutrality and our independent existence is the defensive will of the people and the proverbial marksmanship of the Swiss shooter. Each soldier a good marksman! Each shot a hit! -Schweizerische Schuetzenzeitung (Swiss Shooting Federation) April, 1941
Wouldn't a recent shiner like that cause a lot of swelling?
Not necessarily - at least not right away - next day maybe some puffiness as blood is circulated in at higher volume to repair the injury.
I saw a guy I knew who had one so bad it broke blood vessels in his eyes making them look like something out of horror movie, but only just a little puffiness.

and what about all the people who dont seem to be exactly white, but might show tinges of ...er... color?
Still don't get it do you? I could not care less about melanin, it's purely a question of culture. Why shed these crocodile tears for a black mugger while condemning to your little "redneck cabal" everyone who is pissed off about violent crime? Forget Cynicom, forget "violent" crime for that matter, what I want to know is how did you get so screwed up that you hate everyone that denounces criminals while taking the side of those that smash the innocent upside the head and then go berserk on them over a bumper-sticker?
And they write innumerable books; being too vain and distracted for silence: seeking every one after his own elevation, and dodging his emptiness. - T. S. Eliot
so you guys have failed at logic, you've failed at namecalling, you've failed at tapdancing, and now you figure you got me corned cause i did a typo
So you've got all of your enemies cornered now because I'm a smartass? Good luck with that one at Columbia, Jelsik.

Exactly the point. It is culture not color. Now color has had an influence on the culture - some because of past racial injustice and some just out resentment and angriness at others - irrationally so.
I thought Bill Cosby summed it up nicely:
'They're standing on the corner and they can't speak English. I can't even talk the way these people talk...
Why you ain't
Where you is
What he drive
Where he stay
Where he work
Who you be...
And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk. ;< /SPAN>
And then I heard the father talk.
Everybody knows it's important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth.
In fact, you will never get any kind of job making a decent living. People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an education, and now we've got these knuckleheads walking around.
The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal.
These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids. $500 sneakers for what??
And they won't spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics.
I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing there in an orange suit.
Where were you when he was 2??
Where were you when he was 12??
Where were you when he was 18 and how come you didn't know that he had a pistol??
And where is the father?? Or, who is his father?
People putting their clothes on backward, isn't that a sign of something gone wrong?
People with their hats on backward, pants down around the crack, isn't that a sign of something?
Or, are you waiting for Jesus to pull his pants up?
Isn't it a sign of something when she has her dress all the way up and got all type of needles [piercing] going through her body?
What part of Africa did this come from??
We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans. They don't know a thing about Africa . With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed and all of that crap, and all of them are in jail.
Brown or black versus the Board of Education is no longer the white person's problem.
We have got to take the neighborhood back.
People used to be ashamed. Today, a woman has eight children with eight different 'husbands' -- or men or whatever you call them now.
We have millionaire football players who cannot read.
We have million-dollar basketball players who can't write two paragraphs.
We, as black folks have to do a better job. Someone working at Wal- Mart with seven kids... you are hurting us.
We have to start holding each other to a higher standard.
We cannot blame the white people any longer.

This from Obama/Biden. Odd they seem to now recognize the attack but their supporters do not.
From Obama...
" Meanwhile, late this afternoon, the Obama-Biden campaign released a statement, saying: "This is a horrendous act of violence. Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice."
you are unable to explain how it automatically follows that i hate myself if i dont hate blacks.
"Anything you see in me is in you. If you want to see a vicious killer, that's who you'll see, do you understand that? If you see me as your brother, that's what I'll be. It all depends on how much love you have. I am you, and when you can admit that, you will be free. I am just a mirror." - Charlie Manson

you failed at everything else, now you have to resort to nitpicking.
well, you gotta play the hand you're dealt, and judging from your performance, you're playing a pretty piss-poor hand.
Ask me about cynicom again.
And they write innumerable books; being too vain and distracted for silence: seeking every one after his own elevation, and dodging his emptiness. - T. S. Eliot
LOL, I remember when I was like 5 or 6 visiting my second cousins in NE Kentucky and my cousin cut her finger. I had to ask my Mom, "Mom, what's a fanger?"
My goodness, already 5 or 6 and didn't know what a fanger was? LOL!
Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest political end. Lord Acton

I never thought Obama would defend some psycho thug who bashes ATM users on the noggin. I don't think it's just a political ploy on his part, he seems sensible enough to get why most folks dislike being cracked across the head during the commission of a violent crime. It's a shame not everyone does.

would you like to explain the logic behind cyicom's assertion that white people who dont hate blacks hate themselves?
Give me an exact word for word quote not your fractured bizarro interpretation.

i really dont think charlie manson quotes explain the logic behind cynicom's assertion that white people who dont hate blacks hate themselves.
do you?

this might be of interest to you: Shelby Steele (a black man who coined the term White Guilt and who authored the book, White Guilt-How Whites and Blacks Together Destroyed The Promise of the Civil Rights Era)
you're not thinking about voting for monkey boy are you? Or are you.......
Not until that post. :)

The age of white guilt: and the disappearance of the black individual
"white guilt"...
sounds like a theory that was exploited during the civil rights movement to institute lame programs that would antagonize white people...
must go hand in hand with "black culture"...
think of the opportunities all this strife will produce once our masters decide they need to clamp down a little harder.
i wonder who the leaders of the civil rights movement were in those good ol' days, and i wonder why an israeli american, the biggest contributor to the democrat party, has seen fit to buy the largest spanish-speaking television network in the US.
it's my guess that, if i dont hate hispanics, i hate myself.
Well, that is close but not exactly the way he said it. It was way funny.
Sometimes regional accents and drawls can have an interesting flavor. I have done a little studying on regional accents, the South in particular, and reejnal drawwwls kin very qwaht a beet depending upon where yur at. I'm biased I must admit since a lot of my family hails from Tennessee and I think the Tennessee drawl the most elegant. Although South Carolina is very similar but just a little bit shorter - Tennesseans tennnd tooo draw their words out jussssssst a bit.
