I think (know) swelling of ruptured tissue occurs within ninety minutes to a few hours, like two, or much less, of the original injury. The reason is that the vascular system is ruptured and the bloodstream floods into the region of the injury. Causing fairly immediate swelling of the sensitive area around the eye, which is well supplied with blood, so the swelling would have happened quickly. It is unreasonable to believe the photo would have been taken quickly after the alleged assault. Maybe I am wrong. Too bad the MSM has destroyed its credibility - it is not my fault.

Maybe you think it's perfectly ok. I think comes from a lesser intelligence or consciousness. I'm sorry to see it here in such a majority. A. I wouldn't call it a majority. B. Free speech is just that free speech. Protecting the speech of those with whom we violently disagree is necessary for their to be truly free speech. Frankly I look at it and note it as the irrationality that it is and comment where I see necessary. However, having it out in the open also makes it easier to combat where it occurs, BUT I think most thinking adults have gained enough knowledge to recognize, even when they speak wrongly, that racism and bigotry are false idols. As well people identify with those groups to whom they feel members and tend to oppose or remain neutral on those they don't. It is always acceptable to root for the "Home Team" and most do - whatever that "Home Team" might be. Catcalls at the other side of a debate can be acceptable, and must be allowed for open debate, if they remain civil - however ill-founded they might be. Vituperation achieves nothing, not that I can't be snotty, but I always grant people the right to their own opinions even when I disagree and think them ignoramuses.

The society is defined by its common culture which is neither white nor black. However, where that culture has norms established - such as the golden rule, standards of dress and conduct and one defines one's self by the recognition of those standards. What generates unity and cohesion in a culture is the recognition of those norms. One can still have one's own sub-culture within a larger culture but one ignores the common norms at one's own peril and detriment. Whatever trips your trigger.

I have argued as much repeatedly. I stopped watching television years ago now. My total TV viewing in a typical year is less than 20 hours (except in a good college Bowl Season). I don't believe that was Cyni's point. While I am loathe to tell other people what they think - as I interpreted Cyni's point it was more a matter of some White people who feel guilty for being white, and presumably more priveledged, and thus make excuses for minorities who violate civilized standards of behavior excusing under whatever rationale - often to the point of denigrating or rejecting their own group, excusing the behavior regardless of the crime, and thus the term "White Guilters".

Who cares? We need to do one study on the effects of forced bussing on whites for instance. Bussing (to achieve artificial racial balances) has devastated public education in America and blacks are still underachieving losers, and here you are asking for more breast beating sorrow about the conditions under which poor downtrodden blacks labor? And, BTW, it's only American born blacks who "suffer" these crushing effects of "racism". Caribbean blacks have incomes roughly equal to whites while American blacks just can't seem to find that ladder of opportunity. It seems that too many blacks have embraced the status of social cripples and intended to milk it for all its worth. And you seem all too happy to assist in that white guilt campaign. "Defensive racism" is defined as "the desire to secure a future for our children" and in our own country the mere utterance of that phrase is some kind of "crime" to those who absolutely demand that whites be held down and carefully watched. They were seeded into the culture. Most of the "kill, kill, kill" games were originally developed by the military because it is unnatural for most people to kill another human. The military set out to solve the problem of soldiers who would not "kill the enemy". My father was a Marine in WWII and saw some of the worst fighting and killing and I guarantee you the internal scars were much worse than the ones that earned him 3 Purple Hearts. The computer games were developed and released into the culture to make American youth more willing to kill as cannon fodder. Madison Avenue is only the visible influence - the same techniques and tactics are at play in conducting social control, perception management, and enslavement of all us "useless eaters".
