Forget Bob Barr and Ralph Nader. Ron Paul is the “third-party” candidate who has the potential of being the spoiler in Montana.

Paul officially is not a presidential candidate, of course, but his supporters nevertheless got him on the ballot in Montana and Louisiana. Reason magazine political blogger David Weigel reports on a Montana State University-Billings poll released October 23, showing these results:

Barrack Obama 44.4%

John McCain 40.2%
Ron Paul 4.2%
Ralph Nader .7%
Bob Barr 1%
Undecided 9.5%

Another report on the poll, on Montana’s News Station, says that “Ron Paul’s voters were 70.6% independents, 11.8% Republicans, 0% Democrats, and 17.6% of the voters undecided about their partisanship.”

As Weigel observes, “The gap between Obama and McCain is exactly the same as Paul’s support in the state. In the interals, Paul is drawing independents, ‘other parties,’ and Republicans, but no Democrats whatsoever.”

Oh no! Those whole three votes Montana represents? My goodness, that could throw the entire election... well, it could... if it wasn't for the fact that Obama is leading in the latest polls by quite a bit more than three electoral votes. The poll on the front page of Yahoo is showing Obama leading by 355 electoral votes to McCain's 156. That's... um... 199 electoral votes ahead. So yes, those big three votes from Montana are really going to make a big difference. Yep. You bet. Big time. Oh yeah.

Gold and silver are REAL money, paper is but a promise.

Do I detect just a hint of sarcasm in your tone ? ;-)

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”—Samuel Adams

The arrogance of the two party duopoly never ceases to amaze. They act as though they somehow "own" your vote, and that if you choose to vote for a third party candidate, he's "stealing" what is "theirs." Has it occurred to the McCain shills that if Ron Paul wasn't on the ticket, those 4.2% probably wouldn't bother voting at all?

Note to Democrats and Republicans: stop running such shitty candidates, and maybe then third parties won't seem like attractive protest votes. And you'd also be surprised how many people wouldn't stay home on election day if you didn't run garbage candidates like OBiden and McPalin.

They are 2 wings of the same bird of prey. The National Party is owned and operated by the illegal shadow government which takes goose stepping orders from the banksters via their Globalist orgs, like Bilderberg Society and American Friends of the Bilderberg Society.
