I had the following dream this morning: It was towards the end of election day and people were voting. It was dark out, and wherever I wandered in the dream was usually in dank basements, and there were surprisingly a lot of people there, except for this place that was like a wide open ballroom where the candidates were, but even the lights there were very low and the place was shadowy. Obama and a small group of people walked across the open floor to the other side to assume a stage. Like now, Obama was expected to be the winner. When the election was over a winner was announced--but it was neither of the two candidates, and was not a third party person. Obama's ticket had won, but he had quietly stepped down and another man I did not know was taking his place. I did not recall that this man had even run in the primaries. He was simply placed as the winner by someone other than the American people. It turns out he had about as much experience as being president of Toastmasters. He would be a puppet to the people who controlled the whole thing behind him. He was oblivious to what was going on--another fool. There was not a word from Obama. I could not tell if he willingly agreed to this or if he was one of the victims of such an invisible hand that could pull this off. There was no reaction from him at all. I realized another coup had taken place and after all the hard work and money people put forth, no one's vote counted--again. Only it was worse. We had all been taken hostage. An entire country. I began to look for others who might know what was going on and no one seemed to know. There were a few people who were looking to the radio and TV news for what they might say, but they were only announcing the new president, and not a word about how it was happening. That even the entire media was in on this was the final blow to how deep, and long planned, the tentacles were to the hostage-taking of an entire nation. Most people did not react except a few people expressing interest in that something wrong had happened. There was no outrage, no riots, no shake down anywhere in the nation. People just went on to work the next day as usual. The most terrifying realization was that the American people were accepting this. It was not that people were so stupid, but everyone's spirit had been broken, and no one felt they could do anything to change situation.
Poster Comment: This is an actual dream my friend had this morning. She is an anti-war liberal who is voting against McCain and Obama.

I'm KIDDING!!! We'll find out if she is a prophetess, soon enough.
