I'm scared about Tuesday. I think something may happen.
Well, it's looking like Obama has a good chance of being elected, in which case there will be a long sigh of relief, even joy, for a lot of people, and consternation for others who think the sky will fall, which it won't.
The only way McCaca wins is if he cheats, like Bush and company did, twice. The Repubes are doing their best to purge voters, intimidate, mis-inform, a good bit of which is illegal. The great promoters of democracy seem to have to resort to voter suppression most every election now....
If the latter does happen, there will be a serious fuss for a while, and I hope the Dems don't cave this time.
No riots, maybe some rowdy celebrations, back to business-as-usual by the end of the week is what I expect. I'm more afraid of what Bush and company will do in the last three months of this disastrous administration
And then there's the long haul. It's gonna be tough digging out of the hole that got dug for us.

Scrolling through the comments, seeing X-15's repetitive anti-Christ graphic, I'm reminded of the anti-Christ schtick that was laid on Reagan because each of his names consisted of six-letters. 6-6-6 was supposed to be some kind of sign.

In fact as a new poster with not much of a positive contribution posting history - with an aim of creating good first impressions and putting your best foot forward and all - I think it would have been a prudent thing to do. I didn't take the insults personally, scrapper, don't worry about that. I was just wondering what positive contribution they made.
And now I understand my Bush-bashing was likely the problem. Well, to make you all feel better, I will be doing that until the day I die. His presidency has been an abomination. I only regret that he wasn't impeached and convicted. He deserved that. Don't speak his name to me unless you want your blood pressure to rise.
