Cops Collect New Video in Anne Pressly's Attacker Case Newswoman Anne Pressly was severely beaten in her home. Little Rock, Ark. Police are searching for any information leading to the person, or persons, who beat local morning TV anchor Anne Pressly, 26, to death in the early morning hours of October 20, 2008. Now, investigators have released new clues to America's Most Wanted on who they believe was reponsible for fatally beating television anchor woman Anne Pressly. Employees at a fitness center in Little Rock told AMW producers that police collected surveillance video from a camera on the exterior of their facility, which was trained on a nearby road. Along with the surveillance video from the gym, police have collected video from a Shell gas station. A clerk there told AMW that Anne's credit card was used at one of the gas pumps there the night of her attack. The employee said that there was a surveillance camera working on the premises, and that the video has been turned over to police, but investigators working the case have not confirmed this information. The last contact Anne had with anyone was through a text message with a friend at 9:50 p.m. on October 19, 2008. Anne's mother, who was visiting from South Carolina, says she always calls Anne in the morning for an early wake-up call, and was alarmed when her daughter didn't answer her repeated phone calls. She went to Anne's house to check on her, and was horrified to find Anne in bed, bleeding. Cops say Anne was beaten in the head and chest area, and was listed in critical condition at a local hospital before she died. AMW has also learned that despite reports to the contrary, Little Rock Police have not named a suspect in the beating, and following the attack, a citizen donated pepper spray, which cops distributed other female local TV reporters. Police Seek Suspect In Popular Anchor's Fatal Beating Everyone who knows Anne has describes her as a smart, popular woman with no known enemies. Investigators are trying to determine why Anne was attacked. They suspect that the beating happened during the course of a robbery, because Anne's purse was missing, but they say there is the potential that the attacker was a stalker. AMW has also learned that despite reports to the contrary, Little Rock Police have not named a suspect in the beating, and following the attack, a citizen donated pepper spray, which cops distributed other female local TV reporters. Pressly was beaten around the head, face and neck during the attack. She had been unable to communicate with her family or police, while being kept sedated in the intensive care unit. Pressly was discovered Monday, Oct. 20, a half-hour before she was to appear on ABC affiliate KATV's "Daybreak" program. Her mother went to the woman's home after she didn't answer her regular wake-up call. Police have yet to identify a suspect in the attack, and cops are looking for any information that might lead an arrest. I neither know nor care what the race of the person who did this terrible thing is. Whoever it was, was a monster and I hope they catch him or them before he (or they) can hurt anyone else.

We are wide-eyed empiricists who pay attention to societal trends we see unfolding around us every day and can predict with a high degree of certainty the odds of Miss Pressly's killer being a street nigger are around 9:1. You are color blind, just like the Jew-controlled MSM tells you should be in order to be a good citizen rather than a bad one, like me. I'm bad; you're good. Let the colorful games begin! I can hardly wait. So, what can you say about the "content of character" of colorblind folks who not only lack discriminating tastes, for fear of being called bad, but who steadfastly deny their own race so as not to offend the predatory Black underclass? The thrust in this country toward fairness and lack of prejudice is why Obama's birthplace has to be ignored; that is, affirmative action now supercedes the Constitution. Such foolishness presages the unfolding of a society, and we're now seeing that in unprecedented fashion. It will worsen and even then most Americans won't understand what has been done to them through malice aforethought.

You have learned to hate blindly and don't see individuals for who they are--you only see skin color and condemn the whole group based on a difference in skin pigmentation. But I know there are good and bad in all groups. I can give you three examples of what I consider to be good and decent human beings who happen to be black, two of whom are well known and whose names most people would recognize and one who is not well known but a good and honorable man. J.J. Johnson who used to be the editor of the Sierra Times is one example, another is Walter Williams. And one I will just give his first name, Howard. Howard was a pallbearer at my dad's funeral at my dad's request. And you probably have never met a nicer person. I don't hate blindly and feel sorry for those who do.

He has been described as the "real American psycho." His crimes included necrophila, cannibalism, and of course, murder. He made masks from the skin of his victims and furniture from their bones. The one common factor with almost all of them is that they were white. I am white too but I don't think I am a candidate to become a serial killer. Neither are most other white people. But if you start talking about serial killers (those who aren't running governments, that is), you will be talking more about white people than you will about almost anyone else, or at least that seems to be the case. I grant you that there are black serial killers, one that you didn't mention was Wayne Williams. All of these things are just examples of man's inhumanity to his fellow man. But because some people are rotten to the core doesn't mean everyone is and that is true in all races.

Good find with that comprehensive list of non-White serial killers, Jethro. That sort of counters the white guilters' big lie that "most" sk's are White. I've had this book, _Zebra_, in my personal library after having searched for years for a copy. That number, 78, is low. It's amazing the thoroughness of the cover up of the "zebra (as in Black on White) killings" from the early 1970s. Has anyone reading this ever heard even one mention on TV of these ritual, random killings of White people as part of an initiation rite into the "Death Angels," a militant arm of the Black Panther Party? The first victims in San Francisco were a couple named Richard and Quita Hague. The Hagues were out for an after dinner walk when they were abducted at gunpoint and forced into a van. They were bound and Richard was beaten over the head with a lug wrench and knocked unconscious. Quita was sexually molested and hacked with a machete. While begging for her life she was decapitated. Before leaving, the attackers hacked at the face of the still unconscious man. Miraculously, he survived and was able to give valuable information to the police. Brutality and a lack of remorse on the part of the criminals mark the attacks. Vincent Wollin was shot in the back and killed on his 69th birthday. Mildred Hosler, an obese, older woman was shot while frantically trying to get away from her younger, faster attacker. Ilario Bertucci, a 135-pound, 81-year-old man, was killed while walking home from work. Marietta DiGirolamo, a 5'1" white woman was shot and killed on her way to a neighborhood bar. In none of these cases did the victims do anything to provoke the murderers. They simply had white skin and were in the wrong place at the wrong time. There were even some high profile victims. Art Agnos, who would later go on to become mayor of San Francisco, was shot and almost killed by the Death Angels. A member of the California Commission on Aging, Agnos was attending a community meeting in a black neighborhood to discuss building a government funded health clinic in the area. In the same neighborhood the killers were hunting for whites. As the meeting let out, Agnos stopped to talk with two women. One of the killers came up behind him and shot him twice in the back. The bullets ripped apart his lungs, spleen and kidneys. Bystanders called an ambulance and Agnos barely survived. Lou Calabro was a street patrol sergeant with the San Francisco Police Department at the time and notes that as the murders added up, the SFPD came under increasing pressure to stop the killings: "In what was known as Operation Zebra, more police were put on the street and security checks were beefed up. Despite the increased police presence, the attacks did not stop. They would often happen when we were on full alert. Some officers suspected a black cop who was a member of `Officers for Justice,' a black police officers association formed to get more promotions for themselves, was tipping off the killers, though this was never proven. We were very frustrated at not being able to stop the killings." The increased police presence had the effect of angering the black community. Twenty years before the Los Angeles riots and O.J. Simpson trial, blacks were already making statements to the press that showed a stunning lack of remorse for what was happening to their white neighbors. Howard quotes from interviews conducted by the San Francisco Examiner in 1974. Among the responses by blacks were, "I don't feel comfortable with all the police around. But then, I never have felt safe around them." A young housewife stated, "I'm really glad the police are concerned for a change. I just wonder if they would be as much concerned if it were black people getting killed." A black lawyer added, "I commend the police for their beefing up of the force, but I hope it's not just directed at blacks. I hope blacks aren't being harassed." Still other blacks blamed "unemployment" and "oppression" for the attacks. One man said, "the madness that drives black men to kill innocent people . . . involves a sickness that is as American as apple pie." Black Panther leader Bobby Seale declared, "every black man in the Bay area is in danger of losing his life." The Reverend Cecil Williams claimed that the entire black community was "under a police state that could erupt into a racial war." Howard observes, "although they were responding only to a question about Operation Zebra, it was curious that none of the blacks interviewed took the occasion to condemn the unknown street killers or express sympathy for the victims." Detectives Gus Coreris and John Fotinos were 13-year veterans of the Homicide Unit and led the investigation which eventually cracked the case. Though they both suspected the Black Muslims, it was hard to get any information on the possible suspects because of a ban on surveillance of religious institutions. Moreover, the closed atmosphere of the NOI made it hard to get spies into the organization. Coreris and Fotinos were able to link the murders because the killers were using the same weapon for each attack. They were also able to put together information and descriptions from those who survived such as Agnos and Hague. The case was solved when one of the members of the Death Angels came forward with information on the other killers. A total of eight black men with previous records were arrested. All were members of the Death Angels. Though this group committed most of the killings, they do not account for all of the criminals. Some are still free to this day. The Nation of Islam paid for the legal representation of every one of the killers except Cooks, who immediately admitted to his murders. The Death Angels are still in prison but are up for parole in 2002. The European American Issues Forum (EAIF), headed by Calabro, has pledged to attend the parole hearings and work to insure that the killers spend the rest of their lives in jail. In addition, on October 19 of this year, the EAIF will hold its fifth annual Zebra Victims Memorial Service on the steps of San Francisco City Hall. As with the previous five ceremonies, government and community leaders such as Mayor Willie Brown and the leader of the local NAACP will be invited to attend. They have declined to attend any of the ceremonies so far and are not likely to show up this year. Indeed, the lack of publicity and recognition of these racially motivated hate crimes is consistent with the efforts of government agencies, civil rights groups and the media to portray European-Americans as the only perpetrators of hate crimes. This same type of black-on-white serial murder occurred in the Miami area in the early 1990's. The racist cult of Yahweh-ben-Yahweh began systematically killing whites in the same manor as the Death Angels. Whites were again described as subhuman "devils" by the cult leaders who urged their black followers to murder random whites. In what was strictly local news, seven whites were ritually slaughtered before the cult was stopped. The leaders of Yahweh-ben-Yahweh are also up for parole in 2002. It has been almost 30 years since the Zebra Killings and, with the exception of Clark Howard's book, little has been written about the murders. That is why they have disappeared from the public consciousness. At least one filmmaker who tried to get funding for a documentary on the killings has said that producers will not touch it, as it involves the taboo of black-on-white racism. Needless to say, there is no such taboo on discussing white-on-black racism. But a society that memorializes Emmett Till, Medgar Evers and James Byrd should also make room for the victims of the Zebra Killings. Mr. Sanders and Mr. Cohen, by means of very broad strokes of the pen and innuendo, give the appearance that white officers seldom had much to offer and black officers were constantly discriminated against. That was not my experience. For several weeks there was an undercover group of us that drove or walked around the areas where the homicides had most often occured, and some members of the unit were African-Americans. Others, like me, were not. In essence, we were decoys, walking targets. That information was apparently not in the box of evidence "mistakenly" sent to Mr. Sanders' home. We worked very hard and, unlike Mr. Sanders, had no interrogation room to sit around drinking alcohol while discussing the case. We drank coffee, kept quiet and looked for the murderers. There are several mistakes which could be addressed in a different format but I don't wish to belabor everything in this review. However, the book also misleads the reader into believing that minorities failed promotional exams because they were given exams that were different than other officers. That is not accurate. All participants were given the same test and many people who took the exams didn't score high enough to qualify for promotion. Why so many minorities didn't is a completely different discussion than to summarily dismiss that result by misleading readers that they were given different exams. The disservice done by over-stating racist cases, such as I read in this book, is that legitimate cases have a more difficult time succeeding. One last complaint is that there is not one reference note. A book of this nature demands references. What we have without them is pretty much opinion, which a good investigator knows, doesn't make for a convincing case. By the way, I didn't buy this book but retrieved it from the public library. I am personally acquainted with a number of retired San Francisco police officers who worked on the Zebra case. All recall that Sanders played, at best, a minor role in solving the case and bringing the killers to trial. The FBI currently has an "uncaptured" Zebra suspect under surveillance. Here's what Sander's has done to maybe prevent a prosecution from going foward. He claims that a box of Zebra reports (and evidence?) inadavertently arrived at his home when he retired as Chief of Police. He then writes in his book that he allowed the co-author of his book, Bennett Cohen, to look at the Zebra reports (and evidence?). As a long time Homocide Inspector (Detective) he knows that he could have compromised the case. The box should have been immediately returned to the Police Department. A Police Department investigation is need to determine how he came into possession of the Zebra boxed reports--and have they been returned. We fear that this story about how the box arrived at his home may be a coverup in that he may have allowed co-author Cohen to see all of the files that he ordered placed in his office while he was Chief of Police, in anticipation of writing this book. All of his effort just to glorifiy his name ( as he does throughout the book) makes his career a sad commentary for any young African American person looking for a legitmate black hero to emulate. They need and deserve legitimate black heroes as role models. His failure to immediately return the box of Zebra case files shows him as man who lacks integrity, lacks a good sense of "professional ethics" and is less than a responsible law enforcement representative. Falzone "demedici" (michigan) I bought this book with the hope of enhancing my limited knowledge on this critical time in the city of San Fransico that took place back in the 1970's. I did read Clark Howards book on the same subject about 25 years ago. After reading Mr Sanders version of the events I wonder if they were both writing about the same incident. Needless to say, Mr. Sanders book leaves one with the feeling that the real crime was the fact that the Mayor of S.F. and the police were using every means at there disposal to put a stop to these horrible crimes. One fact that seems to be at odds with Mr. Sanders is the fact that after months of frustration, the police were able to create a crack in the case within a week of finally taking drastic actions in regards to a dragnet in the area where most of the killings took place. This is in direct contrast to the point that Mr. Sanders makes throughout the book which is to say that the then S.F. police department was completely corrupt and unable to solve crimes because they were so at odds with most of the citizens of S.F. A point most everyone else disputes. I believe the fact that the crime was solved only after the police applied direct pressure speaks for itself in terms of whatit really took to put a stop to these killers. I would not recommend this book to anyone who is searching for a truthful, insightful and accurate telling of this tragic chapter in the city by the bay. --- 21 of 26 people found the following review helpful: Not the real story!, September 11, 2006 By Truth "Sally" I recommend that you read the ORIGINAL "Zebra" by Clarke Howard. THAT is the TRUE story, taken from transcripts, police reports, etc. Sanders was not the lead inspector on this case, and seems to be taking credit where it is NOT due. He was being trained at the time by the real lead inspectors, and is attempting to pass himself off as the one that solved the case, which he is not. It is shameful that someone would try to take credit for a case which he did not actually solve. If you want the real story, written by an independent author, get your hands on the book by Clarke Howard. A clerk there told AMW that Anne's credit card was used at one of the gas pumps there the night of her attack. The employee said that there was a surveillance camera working on the premises, and that the video has been turned over to police, but investigators working the case have not confirmed this information.
