I wish he'd have given my Bassett Hound that sense. Once that stupid dog puts her nose to the ground, she goes wherever it leads her without looking left, right, up, or down.

Naw. Not possessed. Just stupid. I bought the dog for my kids because she was just so durned cute. It wasn't until later that I learned that they are the second dumbest breed of dog. Only the Afghan is stupider. And let me tell you. She's at the top of her breed for stupidity.

If she were human she'd be a blond! LOL!

We had a Dalmation when I was a kid, that dog was pretty damned stupid. Not just socialy deprived, which I'm sorry to admit it was, but that dog was so brain dead it wore a flat spot on its tail from sitting and wagging in same spot. Wore it raw first, we tried to keep up with gauze and white tape, but to no avail.
