Some locals showed me the way to a new place to shoot today. I'm pleased to say I now have a great place to practice reaching ut and touching someone. I can shoot 350 yards up there. WOOT! (1 image)

It's on a bunch of state land about 2 miles away. That cut out runs back 350 yards to a decent backstop.

It's been so long since I was able to shoot at any kind of appreciable range. I finally got to play with my new (used) burris signature on my AR15. It worked very well. Now I can send the scope out to burris for some target turrets and a mil dot reticle.

I picked the scope up in trade for a K98 Mauser I had. I never owned a burris before. I wanted to make sure it could hold it's own against a leupold before I spent $200 on the turrets and reticle.

I shall not vote for evil, lesser or otherwise.
