Obama is very much an amalgam of Lenin, Marx, and Stalin. He friggin' believes industries will flourish or be destroyed based on his whim. Obama so full of himself that he's really becoming too obnoxious to listen to.

Those of us who cherish freedom and liberty are getting really tired of having this crap shoved down our throats.
You are going to get cap and trade with McCain as well. I'm part of an international climate forum, mostly scientists, and I can tell you that the global elites are pushing hard right now for cap and trade. They want this bad and they see global temperatures cooling and the window of opportunity closing.
So let's look at the big picture for a minute. How does this election play into their game? You've all seen my posts about how I think Obama will take popular vote while McCain takes Electoral College. And I know some of you think I'm nuts, maybe I am. I believe the resulting civil unrest will give them cover to slip a lot of this stuff under the radar just like when they put carbon crap in the banking bailout. They'll use it like 9/11 to get a bunch of this stuff passed. The big push is for cap and trade and things like the NAU. Time is short. Look for things to happen fast after the election.
I think McCain can be successfully nullified by pounding the table hard enough.
I don't. Look at the banking bailout. The people were sreaming yet they passed anyway with carbon crap added in. He might pay lip service but it will still get done one way or another.

True, and that is a risk, but if you have to pick the lesser of two weevils, I think McCain can be swayed while Obama appears to believe his own BS.
Looking at the Amnesty debacle, McCain's comment in private was that if the people wanted the damn border secured, he'd do it and THEN do the Amnesty.
Okay, so we have an example. Going forward, if that MO holds true, then McCain can be backed off into a "this first" type of situation which would outlast his tenure in office.
Just thinking out loud here about how to sabotage politicians....it could fail, but if we're stuck in the "one or the other" situation again, I still think McCain can be backed off easier than Obama.
