There's nothing new about bumpfiring, but I've never seen it done with a rubberband. That's a pretty neat trick. I can't believe I never thought of it. Some folks used to use a shoestring with a keyring but once the federale filth in the BATF found out they outlawed it. He makes it look real easy with a 9mm AR-15, but there is a significant difference between the recoil of a 9mm AR-15 and a 5.56 AR-15. With a 5.56 AR- 15 you won't have near the control and your shot pattern will look nothing like what it does in this video. Overall, it's a waste of ammo. A lot of fun though.

Does that work with an AK-47? 9 mm is about the same caliber as a 22. I am not even sure what the caliber of an AK-47 is but they are cheap. A 22 is 22/100th of an inch. 2.54 X 9 mm = .232/1,000th of an inch.

Get this. My local ammo merchant, usually good for 10,000 7.62x39 any and every time, said today that he was down to some 800 rounds and didn't know when more was inbound !!! Needless to say, I have some 800 more rounds than I did y'sterday.
