Title: A Goldi-lox meltdown on LP. Will the bannings begin soon?

14. To: Rufus T Firefly (#0) This election was precipitated by 2006 election, where conservatives in a snit over the Republicans chose to either not vote, or voted for Dems.

The overwhelming win emboldened them to back the MOST liberal person in DC to rush thru the plans they've had as soon as possible. Even now they are laying down the groundwork and drawing up legislation...before the election.

The entire "hate Bush" march has caused this. We are watching the nation cut of their nose to spite their face, but all of us will pay for their foolishness.

Spite votes have done this.

Anyone who spite voted in 2006 bears the responsibility for this.

I will never forget their irresponsible action, and I will remind them over and over lest they forget.

This all sits on their back. THEY did this by not voting for the best candidate, but voted for SPITE.

You cannot have an open and free election blessed by G-d if you heart is filled with hate and spite. It comes back to you as you delivered it...and we see it now unfolding.

Spite-Dems-Obama....

The only positive thing I can think of about an Obama win is that the stake will be put through the heart of the living-dead faux-conservative fascism that the GOP has come to represent. fool

It's exactly that kind of thinking that has brought this disaster down on us.

The GOP will be destroyed, along with The DEMS and the Constitution too.

Get ready for the USSA.

16. To: Rufus T Firefly (#7) Courts were the first to go.

We have NOTHIHNG.

All we had 4 years ago, was the HOUSE. But spite voters in 2006 made sure that the Dems got that too.

Now Pelosi rules there.

AND WE HAVE NOTHING

NOTHING

NOTHING!!

Declare the GOP dead, form a true second-party opposition party, consisting of constitutionalists and small-government conservatives, and go from there. Day late , dollar short.

In 1992, and 1996, I worked with the Perot people to form a 3rd Party.

There was a lot of infighting. No one had the country at heart. Everyone wanted to be in power, get power, or control power. It was ugly.

Eventually we got the party going. As soon as we did $$$Pat$$$ Buchanan glommed on to it, used the money, and destroyed the party in 2000. He was either a useful idiot, or purposeful traitor to the American people.

It is unbelievable how much she has changed over the last 7+ years. I don't even know this person.

It's like she's been brainwashed.

Oh yeah. It was all spite. It had nothing at all with the actions of Bush and the republicrats. According to her, we should all just STFU, do what we are told and miondlessly vote for the same people who just dry fucked us and weren't even nice enough to give us a kiss while they were doing it.

The place deserves to melt down. By backing Bush and the establishment, the Goldi's of the nation so diluted the Republican party's message that a POS like McCain became their nominee. Obama is a direct result of the Rs settling for the lesser of evils for decades. They deserve whatever fate has in store for them.

Nice. I'll thread this at DU too. Thanks.

You got that right. If Obama wins, I hope her and the lefty's like her choke on their own bile. Of course, all the while they will be blaming everyone but themselves.

As you know, I'm no Obama fan, but the more people that ridicule this knucklehead, the better as far as I'm concerned.

She hasn't changed one iota. You just didn't know the real Goldi before. When LP first started out she posted the most hate filled post about an ethnic group of people that I have ever seen. It was deleted by the other owner at the time Neil McIver. It was really bad. The woman is demented to say the least. Hate is a 24/7 endeavor for Miss Goldi-Lox. I am surprised she hasn't died of a stroke or heart attack by now.

God is always good!

I've been over there because it is a good place to watch the election. I actually have never really developed a DU habit. It is a choir forum, and thus has limited value to it. I don't care much for the interface too.

They and the FReepers have feuded forever, and they'll either like it, or whine at me for bringing this over. ;-)

It might get play, it might not. I am not a big thread contributor there, and some are sick of threads on FReepers.

I began posting at LP back when the owner of freedomunderground (can't remember his LP name) built the short-lived LP chat room. That was prior to freedomunderground. Or maybe it wasn't part of LP but we just went there to chat. It's been so long I don't remember. I sure don't claim to know her personally, but she didn't seem to me to be the same person then as she is now.

As for the rant, if you mean her infamous palestinian rant, I remember it well. That was a doozy alright. Still, she was anti-big government/pro small government, anti-two party fraud, and a part of the tax freedom movement. Now she's a full fledged neocon with her head so far up the ass of government she'll never find her way out.

In your thread you labeled Goldi a conservative. Why would you do that? While not a conservative yourself, surely you've been around these forums long enough to know that people with views like Goldi, Bush and McCain are not conservatives, regardless of what they call themselves.

I find it interesting that while this site has maintained a constant level, her site has dropped precipitously.

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs. —Thomas Jefferson, 1802

unamused is the screen name he went by. Still does on the rare occasions when he posts, at least it seems to be rare.

Yes, and she suffers from aging software and questionable server health.

Do a 'to/from' search. I'm getting returns that cut out at February 2003 at best. You should be able to pull searches of people all the way back to the start of their presences in LP.

The place used to lean Conservative but have a healthy range of opinions, now it is the worst of the worst who leave TOS/Free Republic.

Her will to run the place and be fair while doing it is at an all time low. I predict it will not live through President Obama's administration, but we shall see if that is so.

If it does live on, it will only do so with new blood at the top. She really should pass the place on to new owners who could reinvent the place.

I don't know, to many forums as it is. Better to let it die and the people disperse.
