No one forced the immigrationhyper-population growth issue into the debates. Americans sat on their rear-ends without a whisper concerning an issue portending grave, immediate societal ramifications in 2010 and 2020 and 2030. For starters, imagine your ruptured American culture as dinner conversation by 2020. This country suffers a disconnect from reality that baffles me beyond understanding. No matter which man gains the White House, both McCain and Obama supported bequeathing amnesty to 20 to 30 million illegal aliens in 2007 by voting for S.B 1639. Even more distressing, that bill doubled legal immigration from 1.2 annually to 2.4 million annually. Therefore, either so-called leader will push the same amnesty in 2009. With a Democratic president and Congress, we will see 20 to 30 million illegal aliens gain instant citizenship, instant voting and instant access into our broken social security system, and faltering medical facilities while they demand every service in our country be offered in Spanish. Thats the beginning! A short-sighted direction like this from either candidate completely ignores documented data facing our civilization. Once legalized, they can chain migrate their entire family tree into the United States. We literally displace ourselves, our language and our culture via this horrific human multitude. Yet, no one blinks. It appears, as a nation, were too insipidly stupid to save ourselves. We live on platitudes and bromides that we have beenand thus remain a land of immigrants. How far must we take that course of none-reasoning? If you jumped off a roof and broke your leg, would you do it again or try a ladder? Good idea! Who cements precedent based on past actions unless they lack--or avoid--critical thinking? Each week I write columns, I receive thousands of emails thanking me and a few chastising me. One of my chortling email pests happens to be Dominique Perez or, as he calls himself, Subcommandante Pedro of the MeCHA Brown Berets Infiltration Brigades, Los Angeles, Alta California Aztlan. He jumps all over me with glee as I try to warn America. His last email expressed excitement for an Obama presidency: After the election, it is you who will be a minority here, Perez said. Think of it: Your own government's statistics indicate there are 12 million of what you call "illegals" living in what you call "America". However, we both know that figure is easily triple, but your complicit officials try to hide the truth. Once our beloved Obama is sworn in, he has promised La Raza licenses, increased benefits, and an accelerated path to citizenship for our oppressed brethren. This will open the floodgates and tens of millions of people will crash the gates and demand their rights. So a conservative figure will be say 100 million Hispanics within 10 years. There are already well over 80 million of us here, so now you are talking about 180 million plus the 45 million Negroes who are basically illiterate animals who will vote as the Democrats tell them. Together we will vote every racist honkey out of office and assume control of every local, state, and federal institution. White racists will be made to feel as welcome as the plague. The best thing you can do for yourself and your family is to scurry off to Europe. You are not wanted here. Cheers! Subcommandante Pedro MeCHA Brown Berets Infiltration Brigades Los Angeles, Alta California Aztlan What does that letter tell you? What percentage of that 20 to 30 million instant citizens feel the same way? We already suffer contentious racial relations, but I suspect, as Mexicans become our new majority in 2042 as projected by the PEW studieswe will find our country fracturing via language and culture. For all the fantasy of multiculturalism making our country a diverse bouquet of human civility, the facts speak differently. In Chicago, filled with 2.5 million illegal aliens, in the past six months, more murders killed people than the last six months in Iraq for our combat soldiers. We succumb to 22,000 handgun murders in this country annuallydominated by minorities. Detroit, once a model city, suffers 80 percent minorities with trash-filled streets, burned out cars and crime as a normal way of life. For his corruption, former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick languishes in prison. Once Obama or McCain pass the amnesty to double legal immigrationalso unneeded--well find those massive ghettoes explode with millions of added poor. They pour into our country so fast and in such huge numbers, we cannot educate or acculturate them quickly enough. While we import 2.4 million legal and illegal aliens today, can you imagine the impact when that grows to 3.4 million annually added to our country from the Third World? Prepare for massive system failures in your city. Beyond the cultural and language suicide, no one, and I do mean, NO ONE addresses the environmental impact of THAT many people added to America. I shake my head at how stupid we prove to be as a civilization. Within 30 years, projections show us adding 100 million people, net gain. In the Denver Post, Sunday, November 2, 2008, Mark Jaffe wrote: From California to Denver: Ozone woes become regional. We already stand nostril-deep in environmental consequences in 2008, but hey, what the heck, lets add another 100 million more people to see if that solves our problems. James Howard Kunstler, in The Long Emergency said,
as world oil supplies decline, world economics and markets will exhibit increased instability and we will enter a new age of unimaginable austerity. These trends are irreversible. How could such a catastrophe be so close at hand and civilized, educated people in free countries with news media and transparent institutions be so uninformed about it? I do not believe that the general ignorance about the coming catastrophic end of the cheap oil era is a product of a conspiracy. Mostly it is a matter of cultural inertia, aggravated by collective delusion, nursed in the growth medium of comfort and complacency. Author Erik Davis named it consensus trance. Richard Heinberg, in Peak Everything said, Nor does the matter end with peak oil and natural gas. Once one lifts ones eyes from the narrow path of daily survival activities and scans the horizon, a frightening array of peaks comes into view. Declines manifest in grain production, climate stability, fresh water availability, arable land, wild fish harvests and extraction of metals. At the same time, we presume to blithely accelerate our population toward an added 100 million by 2035. Are we nuts or what?! We drive ourselves into a Faustian dilemma with no way out. We facilitate Hobsons choice without understanding the result, i.e., if you turn right, you walk off a cliff; if you turn left, you walk into quicksand. And yet, why do so few speak up while most remain silent? It appears people rather live in fear as slaves in a feudal system that to be ridiculed for speaking up. No matter who becomes president of the U.S., without a complete reversal of his trend to allow millions of legal and illegal immigrants into Americaa backfire of a magnitude that will leave you weeping most assuredly rages upon all future citizens of America.
