Whatever happened to Suzy Bogguss?? She was a great singer who didn't whore herself out to Nashville.
She got married and had some kids, then couldn't really make a comeback. I remember her sitting on a stool playing in the local Subway in college. My friend and I who lived next door to her were as shocked as could be when she became famous. We honestly thought it would never happen.
Turtle's secret Indian name is Two Stuck Dogs.
I got stoned with certain members of Cheap Trick on their tour bus in Carbondale, Ill. during their Dream Police tour and played a whole set with Gary Richrath, former lead guitarist of REO Speedwagon, at a party my band was playing at in Champaign, Ill. I also go to jam with Gatemouth Brown at his home in Slidell, LA, where I got to hold his grammy. I thought that was pretty cool. That's the closest I'll probably ever get to my 15 minutes of fame.
