I am hoping for the best - we are in some tough times here, we need to be realistic and maybe, just maybe, learn from history for once.

I'm truly glad to see the GOP get taken out and flogged like a red-headed stepchild. However, honestly, I have exactly zero expectations for an Obama administration. I'd love to be proven wrong, really I would, but from what I can tell he's just another puppet for the same oligarchs who've brought us every administration since Kennedy was shot. I'm sure we'll just see more wars, more waste, more fleecing of the middle class, more expansion of the federal government, more outsourcing and offshoring, more jobs destroyed with our Clinton-mandated NAFTA and GATT treaties, and more giveaways to the oligarchs. That's all I expect at this point from any administration or any party. I'm glad you have hope. I don't. Once again, I'd love to be proven wrong. But I don't expect I will be.
