Obama wins, America loses

Wednesday, November 5, 2008

Voters turned out in record numbers on Tuesday to chart what they're convinced will be a long-overdue "new course" for America. Unfortunately, it's likely to be a sloppy tack through the dire straits of rocky shoals that could scuttle this nation.

Democrat Barack Hussein Obama, 47, the junior U.S. senator of Illinois, was the longest of longshots when he announced his candidacy nearly two years ago. But yesterday he was swept into the presidency in commanding fashion by a nation blindly demanding "change."

And coupling President-elect Obama's gross inexperience with the liberal extremists he'll take with him to the White House, some very ugly "change" will be foisted upon America:

An economic policy of unprecedented and recession-solidifying tax-and-spend socialism. It will milk dry the investment so vital to creating and maintaining jobs and cripple the very people it professes to heal.

• An activist judiciary of unapologetic left-wingers that will mock the Constitution in pursuit of rule-of-law-defying social re-engineering

• A weak foreign policy of deferentialism that will endanger American sovereignty and invite aggression.

Rationalized 17th-century French essayist Marie de Sevigne, "There is nobody who is not dangerous for someone."

But can we abide the spectacle of a president dangerous for all?

It is customary to wish an incoming president the best of luck. But it's the American people on whom we bestow that wish today. For they'll need all the luck that can be mustered to weather what one can only hope will be a one-term anomaly.

It's about damn time someone had the nads to write the Truth, post-election, about the "savior." I will not kneel.

This writer should just leave the country. The only part of the country in which the GOP has a future is Appalachia and parts (but not all) of the South.

Sarah Palin will be your nominee in 2012. I predict she won't quite make it then either.

I will not kneel.

A friend of mine remarked that he voted for Obama because, "He can lead."

Really?

Issuing orders is not the same as leading. Leading a group means that you don't necessarily have to have Authority to get things to happen.

We will have to see what happens, but judging by the boos at the McCain concession which were identical to the "Impeach Bush" attitude of the lefties, the only way Obama can lead is by moving so far from the left that he loses the lefties while staking out the center.

"A leader, for a change." - Jimmy Carter, 1976 campaign slogan. Sound familiar? Here it comes again!

The 'Saviour' spin is amusing, but President-elect Obama is an imperfect man like all other members of the human race. Nobody is interested in 'kneeing down' before him or anyone else. As soon as you come to realize this, you will be closer to the reality of the situation.

Unfortunately, it would be just as bad with McQueeq.

Now the JIZ is once again telegraphing the intent to attack this country again. Jew Biden mentioned it in one of his speeches and Israel is saying that earthquakes in Iran were actually nuclear bomb tests.

FWIW, earthquakes have a very different seismic signature than underground nuclear tests, so one can conclude that they're lying to seed the minds of the sheeple that Iran = atom bomb. So when an American city is nuked by the JIZ everyone will automatically think Iran.

Where will it happen? It won't be DC, NY, LA or anywhere with a large number of jews. Probably Austin with its pesky, large patriot community or somewhere in the midwest.

Godfrey Smith: Mike, I wouldn't worry. Prosperity is just around the corner.
Mike Flaherty: Yeah, it's been there a long time. I wish I knew which corner.

I think the 'change' Obingo promises domestically is more troubling for Euro- Americans than anything McCain would have delivered. On foreign policy it's a wash.
