It's history, which interests me. The remote outposts and buildings interest me.

I agree with you. Stalin does not get much attention from scholars in comparison to what Hitler gets even though Stalin was 2x more evil to his own people as well as to other nation's peoples. Stalin was a demon. Hitler killed 6 million Jews in 6 years whereas Stalin killed 8 million Ukrainians in 1 year. Silence from the West to this day.

There are people that wish Stalin's history to be kept quiet. That's why we didn't hear a lot about him when we were growing up but Hitler was shoved down our gullets like castor oil.
