I agree.

Robin is nice, just leans left on allot of things. Just a fundamental difference in opinion there. She's not malicious about it at all.. A nice lady.

Yeah. You know, I can understand to some degree how young people--and I am talking about people old enough to vote but who are naive, impressionable and perhaps a bit gullible--being snookered by someone like Obama. But for older people who should know better? I can't see giving them any benefit of the doubt.

This whole cycle was skewed.. We were given a choice between Napoleon and Karl Marx.

McCain went up there and tried to triangulate on most everything but dubya's war mongering and tax cut line.. In an era of record deficits, no less.

It's no wonder Obama got a bump, even among Conservatives.. (Or what passes for them anyway)

The people who irk me are the ones who bought into his whole agenda and the personality cult. Just voting for the guy because he's not W or McCain isn't a crime this time out.. The irrational, knee jerk defenders are a different matter.

For the record, I couldn't bring myself to vote for either of the uber-party candidates.

For the record--and anyone who has seen as many as ten of my posts on this and other boards already knows it--I didn't vote for the statist whores either. Ron Paul was my first choice but he dropped out. Chuck Baldwin would have also been good and I could have voted for him in good conscience if he had made the ballot where I live (he didn't and they don't count write ins). I pretty much never had anyone to vote for for President.
