Billy Bob Thorton is a crazy person, but he did an amazing thing in writing and directing this movie.

That's a great movie at many levels, especially for anyone who appreciates dark humor and character actors. In addition to Billy Bob's performance, J.T. Walsh's stories are disturbing and funny at the same time, and I loved the scenes with Dwight Yoakam and Colonel Hampton's garage band.
