Mike has informed me that Chris, his youngest brother, has contracted spinal meningitis and is in a coma. Mike and his sister, Nancy, are headed to Seattle via train on Saturday to be with their brother. Mike describes Chris as a "fundie, a very conservative Christian, very very nice, smart, stubborn, giving, and always generous with his time and resources."
Mike has given me permission to say that your prayers and/or well wishes for Chris would be very much appreciated.
