Mike has informed me that Chris, his youngest brother, has contracted spinal meningitis and is in a coma. Mike and his sister, Nancy, are headed to Seattle via train on Saturday to be with their brother.

Mike describes Chris as a "fundie, a very conservative Christian, very very nice, smart, stubborn, giving, and always generous with his time and resources."

Mike has given me permission to say that your prayers and/or well wishes for Chris would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for lettiing us know, Chrissie. I'll surely add Chris and family and friends to my prayer list. People can differ in politics, religion, etc., but we all hurt the same when our families are hurting.
