Obongo's Kenyan relatives are one Darwinian rung above the lovely Michelle. Talk about messing with sasquatch. Egad, what a swine.

Yeah, I would say that if the swine flu gets anywhere near her it could well take her out. Or mad cow disease could get her. Just sayin'.

Clinton's economic team, somehow, was able to turn the enormous budget deficit that Poppy Double-You left behind into some decent SURPLUS.

Well gee, what we're seeing today on Wall Street is the magic wand Billy Boy used when, during his administration, the Glass-Steagall Act was repealed. Do some homework, you pathetic D-voting freak. That, more than anything, let loose these greedy hounds from hell that are now stealing our future.

We can also thank the Clinton administration for using taxpayer dollars to bail out the Mexican Peso, and for NAFTA/GATT, which is the principal reason that GM stock is now worth zero.

Yes, NAFTA did passed under Slick Willie. And GATT-WTO also. Not that the Rs haven't economic blood on their hands, but asshat Ds, who still pimp for the Bent One, need to come to these fights somewhat armed. They're an embarrassment.

The Republican dominated Congress went along with most of Clinton's trade and foreign policy, just as the Democrats in Congress have been giving Bush everything he wants.

That's why people who go around saying that D will cure R or R will cure D are a joke.

Just to make you aware of how stupid and uninformed you are, note that the act you talk about which, WITHOUT A DOUBT, is the root of all of today's evil, was initiated by GOP's and was offered to Billy (the Goat) Clinton to sign as a veto-proof bill (check the Wiki).

Anyways, I thought that the root of all evil, which completely destroyed the world economy was the few thousand Blacks who defaulted on their affirmative action mortgages.

The bill that ultimately repealed the Act was introduced in the Senate by Phil Gramm (R-TX) and in the House of Representatives by James Leach (R-IA) in 1999. The bills were passed by a 54-44 vote along party lines with Republican support in the Senate[8] and by a 343-86 vote in the House of Representatives[9]. Nov 4, 1999: After passing both the Senate and House the bill was moved to a conference committee to work out the differences between the Senate and House versions. The final bipartisan bill resolving the differences was passed in the Senate 90-8-1 and in the House: 362-57-15. Without forcing a veto vote, this bipartisan, veto proof legislation was signed into law by President Bill Clinton on November 12, 1999. [10]

So, let's go back to the discussion. You are stupidly bitching and moaning because Obama seems to be hiring some competent people who actually fixed the deficit problem when given a chance.

I'm afraid, my friend, that the 9-to-10 scale of stupidity on which I suggested you rated yourself is no longer good enough for you. Given the evidence at hand, you are A PERFECT TEN, as far as stupidity and small-mindedness is concerned.

Clinton signed the bill. If it was a disaster he should have tossed it back into the laps of the swine who pimped for it. Simple stuff.

The blacks you adore helped to destroy the American housing industry, not the global economy. I already took you to school on this subject. Do a search and get a clue :P

And the reason you can't win these debates is not me being so good (though that MAY be a contributing factor) but you and your crew of irrational Bushlovers being so wrong.

I could, you know?

And do you at least BEGIN to realize how hollow your arguments are? You are blaming Obama for hiring economy experts who used to work for Clinton and were part of the process that turned a budget deficit into a surplus and, when presented with the contrast between the economic situation while Clinton was president to the disaster that Bush produce you... blame it all on Clinton because... HE DID NOT VETO A VETO-PROOF LAW????

How funny is that? You should be laughing at your self and let everyone know who the true Dunce is (you, of course).

Left out of this article is the connection of all but one of the Obama's economic team to Robert Rubin who is a certified criminal. Rubin was the CEO of Citi's private bank which has 100 billion dollars in assets. This money is mostly hot money from drugs, bribes, spies, gun runners and other such upstanding citizens.

The big banks launder a trillion dollars ayear in drugs, 500 billion dollars a year in bribes and almost 400 billion dollars in illegal weapons sales. They also help the official depositiry of the US (the NY FED) and the Treasury Secretary fulfill their role in stealing 4 billion dollars a week from unaudited federal spending. Besides their connection to Rubin did anyone notice that most of his team is Jewish?

Your perceptions are your perception, mine are mine. I am not going to be able to be in here much of this holiday season, but I have yet to feel any sense you "are kicking my ass" as you put it.

You let this election season hold you as an emotional hostage, I see no point to that and take what you say with a grain of salt, and I don't let it become personal.

I feel the way I do and believe what I believe, and have yet to see effective or compelling evidence or argument to move toward your advocacy.

I understand you better then you think, you have had real life experience that does come through compared to some I've known in here.

But as someone who has had it much rougher and more contentious then I have ever had in these shadow boxing dens of forums in many ways, I don't sweat the small stuff. And I don't ever feel heat from forums like these.

That is very much a clear reality check. I am bored in choir forums like DU and handle being outnumbered with a healthy percentage of opponents living for the low blow or even the back stab.

I am fascinated by this election as it has given me perspective and food for thought I don't share, but I find valuable. However, I have a job this and next month that is heavy in time demand and I have to go back to Seattle more then once on top of it, so to be fair to you I would say don't waste too much time sending rounds downrange.

I would love to engage right back, but I just won't be able to do much in that regard until Yule is over.

I hope you have a good holiday season, and try to relax and pace yourself. There will be plenty to talk about up to and through this inauguration on 20 Jan 2009.

I'll still be around, and so will you.

Ken Kesey was horrible to be around after his son died in a crash on his way to a University of Oregon wrestling match. He would reflexively attack and verbally maim anyone and everyone around him.

So much so it was very epic, Ken never did anything halfway. (This was a couple of years before I met him and started being a regular at his ranch in Pleasant Hill.)

A woman whom he scorched severely verbally one too many times finally got to him in a way that helped his healing process.

She said, and I paraphrase; "Ken, you can attack us all you want, but it is of no use. It doesn't matter what you or do to attack us with slights and snarls. We still love you and refuse to do otherwise, deal with it."

It was one of many things talked about allot at his wake, and he himself said that impacted him hard and made a difference. Ken had been a UO wrestler himself and it was like part of him died in that crash.

There is a bronze relief sculpture at the summit that is a memorial for Ken Kesey’s son Jed and Lorenzo West. Jed and Lorenzo were killed on the way to a wrestling match when the van they were in encountered white-out conditions and plunged over a 300 foot cliff.
