Obama: Let illegals get aid for college

On Tuesday, Barack Obama called on California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger not to veto a bill that would make illegal immigrants who graduate high school eligible for college aid.

Schwarzenegger has vetoed a similar measure once before. Obama co-sponsored a similar measure when he was in the Illinois legislature.

Also check out this story from a Georgia-based writer which makes a passing reference to Obama’s education positions but compares the Democratic senator to Ronald Reagan.

On Tuesday, Barack Obama called on California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger not to veto a bill that would make illegal immigrants who graduate high school eligible for college aid.

Barry has "no standing" in state education affairs. Barry can take his "suggestion" and stick it where the sun don't shine. Screw this Limousine Liberal. Who asked for his Affirmative Action butthead's advice? The Governator is the highest elected official in California.

Illegal means illegal, Barry. If Mexican nationals want to apply to attend California colleges and they have THE QUALIFYING BOARD EXAM GRADES, then they might be accepted and in this case they need to pay international student tuition. If Mexican nationals cannot afford California college tuition, perhaps they might qualify for financial aid from the MEXICAN government to study abroad.

California's college aid should go only to California legal residents who are US citizens. End of story.

Nothing to say? Not going to defend the turning of every form box in a posting window into a piss on someone's leg to try to definitively let them know that no matter what they say you don't care? That there is no discussion, just a diatribe coming from you with no respect for anyone with the audacity to think differently then you?

Why not ask Christine to put several boxes in there for various sorts of insults and FReeperlike dissings?

Either be somewhat professional and consistent about what you do with some politess, or you can kiss my ass. It gets no answer. Now, amuse me; defend as god given, and 'obviously' mature and friendly to actual debate and lively discussion putting your gang graffiti in the ping box is.

In case you hadn't noticed I am not on the board at all times. Neither is it incumbent upon me to immediately respond to one of your temper tantrums.

Mikey, I know this may be lost on you but I feel obligated to say a word, the word is satire. I know you might find this perplexing but there is a difference between a diatribe and a satire. A satire is taking something ridiculous and pointing out its ridiculosity by slightly exaggerating it. A diatribe is an angry temper tantrum in words - something I don't need to define for you since you already know all about it.

Of course some things beggar my ability to satirize as they are so patently skewed to ridculousness that satire is almost overkill, but a little underlining helps. Take for example the mindless uncritical support of the Obamessiah by his worshippers which is no different in any important particular from the worship expressed by the common garden variety Bushbot. They are like two peas in a pod. In both cases there is an endless childlike ability to follow every twist, corkscrew, and turn of their object of veneration and defend it as a wonderful insight even if it is the diametric opposite from what they were propounding minutes, days, or hours before. Of course neither the Bushbot or the O'bot will brook even the slightest questioning of the object of their reverence, or pointing out how what they now claim to believe with all their heart, because of divine grace I presume, is the exact opposite of what they were touting as gospel a pittance in time before. Of course that does help make the Obamessiah's point - "he is the change"; anti-war today, attack tomorrow, opposed to business as usual but reappointing the same retreads. That's quite a change all right, and he can count on his faithful 'bots to say "see he was right all along" - whatever the current "all along" is.

Uh, Mikey? You were the first to address me with profanity when you could not refute one of my arguments. I have never addressed you with profanity, and have treated you, up until that point, with politeness and respect despite my differing positions i.e., logic and reason versus vacant PsyOps inspired adulation. I must admit though that you are consistent - whenever I have presented you with an argument you could not refute you did not refute it. Nope, you disappeared.

And then after all your whining what do you do?

Why you take a powder because the reality is that you cannot stand reason and prefer to live in your fog of unreality.

You do not want a reasoned response. What you want is to try to set people off so that they will give an unreasoned response. When you do receive a reasoned response you are totally unprepared to to respond in the same vein. Your position is bankrupt both morally and ethically. You expose yourself for the pompous pusillanimous ass you are.
