"Let me also say that I remain distressed that the White House during this confirmation process, which overall went smoothly, failed to provide critical documents as part of the record that could have provided us with a better basis to make our judgment with respect to the nomination. This White House continues to stymie efforts on the part of the Senate to do its job. I hope with the next nominee who comes up for the Supreme Court that the White House recognizes that in fact it is its duty not just to the Senate but to the American people to make sure we can thoroughly and adequately evaluate the record of every single nominee who comes before us." Anyone that puts faith in a hypocrite IS a hypocrite.

The 500 plus professional politicians with a death grip on power in Washington, need to be sent home or to prison, their decision. Start over again.
There are methods to employ that would reboot the government. They're not pretty and no one seems to want to to do it.

Well we haven't tried massive protests in washington. If we had hundreds of thousands of people in the washington mall day after day like they have after third world elections we might make some headway. Apathy seems to be reigning though.

They all came out to see the "one", just like they came out to see Hitler. Germany may have some very intelligent individuals, but they also have many idiots just like America does.
The modern correlations (German/AmeriKa) are very intriguing to me.
Condolences for the recent defeat of your party. Damn, who knows how long it might be, or even if, the Fourth Reich will rise again in America. I wouldn't give up if I were you .... the military/industrial (financial) complex is alive and well (OK, as "well" any other sector of our sick economy anyway).
