Obama the Warmonger Pakistan has the possibility of being Obama's first "crisis" when he takes office. This possibility has been increased by the release of a new report, WORLD AT RISK, by the Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism that claims, in rhetoric indistinguishable from the rhetoric used in the run-up on the US attack of Iraq:
Were one to map terrorism and weapons of mass destruction today, all roads would intersect in Pakistan...the focus of US policy should be to help Pakistan achieve political and economic stability
and
there is a grave danger it could also be an unwitting source of a terrorist attack on the United States possibly using weapons of mass destruction".
Were these the ramblings of an administration on its way out, it wouldn't be a big deal. But three of the commission's members - Wendy Sherman, Graham Allison and Tim Roemer - stand to end up as a permanent part of the new Obama regime. Sherman is actually a senior advisor for Obama's State Department transition team and is a principal in Madeline Albright's Albright Capital Management and The Albright Group. Needless to say, she's yet another committed Zionist and former Clintonoid in the Obama camp.
Tellingly, the commission faults the Bush administration for not paying enough attention to the threat of biological attack on American soil while paying too much heed to the threat of nuclear attack. In gangspeak, it's a tacit threat to the American people while also opening the way to being able to blame the Bush administration for attacks during the Obama regime, much as the Bush administration blamed the Clinton regime for 9/11.
Change? Maybe in your sofa cushions. Certainly not in Washington, DC.
