Non-declaration 16. If the speaker of the Knesset has called upon its members to make their declarations of allegiance and a member has not done so, that member shall not enjoy the rights of membership as long as he has not made the declaration. 16A. Non-declaration due to dual-citizenship (Amendment 22) If a Knesset member holds an additional, non-Israeli citizenship, and the laws of the country whose citizenship he holds permit him to be released from such citizenship, he shall not declare allegiance until after he has done everything required on his part to be released from such citizenship, and he shall not enjoy the rights of a Knesset member until he makes his declaration.

I guess they are smarter than us on this issue. No reason to get mad at them for holding a superior position. We should emulate it.
The American sheep have been inculcated so that when the phrase "dual citizen" is mentioned, their eyes glaze over.
With Rahm whispering into Obama's ear, I don't think we'll be seeing it anytime soon.

It is unfortunate that is the case. Our country has been stolen from us. The patriots who love this country are on the outside looking in. Just like watching the pigs walking and with clothes on in animal farm.
We're still letting it happen. When a thief breaks into your house and you know who it is, only an idiot would still allow that thief to remain in one's circle of friends.
