"One clear sign that America had better wake the fuck up is that there are still people out there pinning their hopes on a run by Paul and/or Palin. Ron Paul - who's older than McCain! - will be 76 in 2012. The only likelihood more remote than a Paul victory in '12 is if he runs again in 2020 as a still-functioning brain in a fish-tank, floating in spinal column fluid and communicating via electrical impulses. Palin is boneable. That sums up her entire c.v. and program for American renewal. Of course so long as the lights are still on, civil order is more-or-less maintained and - most importantly - the communications satellites are still beaming down AMERICAN IDOL and SURVIVOR and MONDAY NIGHT NIGGERBALL to lull the livestock into contented cud-chewing.....whoever the Pubbies nominate will reflect anything save reality. The current problem with the 'Pubs isn't that they're under the thrall of the neocon Jews; it's that they no longer have anywhere else to go. They sold out their party, and their souls, to the neocons, and by the time they realized what that meant it was too late: every Burnham/Kirk-style traditional conservative, every blood-and-soil patriot, every paleo sworn to Republic before Empire, had been purged, demonized and kristallnacht'd out of not just the party - but polite society altogether. Jew co-optation of the GOP allowed them the golden opportunity to sew up consensus reality once and for all, and from what had, until then, been the impossible side of the aisle to influence and corrupt: the conservatives who believed fighting the culture war was far more important than any further foreign entanglements....particularly with Soviet Communism buckling and about to collapse. First rule of business for the Horowitzim upon gaining power is to drive anyone in position to unmake their coup right off the reservation. So there are no "traditional conservatives" left in the GOP to save the GOP. Put it this way - if the GOP should nominate anyone sans vetting and approval by AIPAC and JINSA, then boil the tap water before drinking any, because civil disorder will be the mode of the day and the American skyline will be gouted with plumes of black smoke from sea to shining sea. But so long as beer and Barcaloungers still rule the day, they'll simply replace the Bush/McCain model with something younger and snazzier, that halfheartedly pretends it isn't a neocon - but of course actually is. And it won't be Palin. (When the first Bush got thumped by Clinton, they didn't measure Quayle for a crown and scepter, did they? Well, they won't do it now, either.)"
