Some forced their way through rows of women and kids to try to hang a profane banner from the balcony while others began tossing fliers into the air. Two women made their way to the pulpit and began to kiss,” he wrote. He cited the Bash Back organization’s own announcement of other items members brought into the church, including “a megaphone, noise makers, condoms, glitter by the bucket load, confetti, pink fabric. …” According to the alternative Lansing City Pulse – which reported it was notified of the protest ahead of time and sent a reporter along instead of warning the church – the protesters also screamed at parishioners and pulled the church facility’s fire alarm. Printed material protesters distributed said, “We specialize in confronting homophobia, transphobia and every and all other forms of oppression.”

As someone who doesn't give a rip about peoples personal life, the aggressive homosexual agenda is getting under my skin. It's all over the media, our schools, and of course, accepted by the leftist scum who reside in this nation. I'm getting to the point where I agree with our Taliban brothers in peace; flamers should be shoved back in the closet, post haste.

These are just theories, but the media runs with it. Anyone in this country has a right to attend church and believe as they do. I could understand militant homosexuals hating the "religious right", many of whom want to bring back laws against homosexual acts, but you'd think that Ron Paul's libertarianism would actually appeal to many gays. I think that the bottom line is that the militant queers don't just want the government to leave them alone and let them live their lives, in spite of what they say. They want special priveleges granted to them by the govt, just like other so-called "persecuted minorities" enjoy. Hands-off libertarianism just doesn't cut it for them.
The gay liberationists get under my skin, but the Bible thumpers who make other people's private lives the focus of their existence are every bit as obnoxious. Both sides are too stupid to see that they're one another's double: one side wants to make their own sex lives everyone else's business, the other side wants to make the sex lives of other people their business. I think so too. BTW, your entire post was excellent. My question was really why RP was pictured on the poster. It's clear now why, but clearer that perhaps gays that have been radicalized by whatever pressure, are being used as tools to actually maintain the left/right myth. Or, the status quo.

As soon as you mention the church burnings, I immediately thought the same thing. It was an obvious personal targeted attack...not a radom 'spree' in the South.
