OR DON'T YOU EVEN CARE? Barack Obama recently finished a $500,000 total overhaul of his 757. And as part of the new design, he decided to remove the American flag from the tail. What American running for President of the United States would remove the symbol of his country? And worse, he replaced the flag with a symbol of himself.This is not the same as “forgetting” to put your hand over your heart during the national anthem. It is not even the same as wearing or not wearing an American flag lapel pin. It is a conscious, expensive decision to emphasize the importance of self over country. Did you know that the American flag on the tail is the logo for North American Airlines, and that it is required to be replaced with a candidate's personal emblem when that plane is chartered by a candidate? Now here's Obama's jet. Notice the American flag is present on the fuselage. Take a look at McCain's plane. There is NO American flag on it at all... As far as the tear jerking story about Obama not shaking hands with the troops over in Afghanistan, it'd be a bit more believable if the person was brave enough to use their name instead of hiding behind the curtain of anonymity. Anybody can "report" whatever they want when they are anonymous. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but let's not feed into any false reports about him spread about for propaganda purposes. I'm sure there will be enough REAL info to report and to be concerned about.
BTW, that picture embedded in your article is a pretty cheesy Photoshop job. Whoever did it must not have been trying too hard to be taken seriously. VS the real thing... reminds me too much of I shall not vote for evil, lesser or otherwise. I am so sorry to see Christine's site turning into a laughing stock. I have no problem with her tolerating all these cretinazis because I approve of tolerance and subjecting the lesser specimens to therapy via participation. Christine, I fully understand that this site is your hobby. You might have noticed that I did state that this site used to be a good vehicle for interesting exchanges of views and ideas. I believe that all that changed when you allowed Jethro and wackos he believes are his friends - and they may be so - to encourage the replacing of discussions and debates with screams and what they believe were clever insults. What did you gain out of it: you gained intellectually challenged members of the calibers of Peppa (come and gone), someone by the name of Olivia, come and gone, some cretin who claims to be a Germ, come and gone and Jethro using your site to project his battered cop fears of darkies and encouraging his little army of insulters to be as 'offensive' as possible. The problem is that you are losing some of your more thoughtful members, and I am not including myself in that category. They are either completely gone or, if they are checking your site, occasionally, they are probably too disgusted or find the 'discussions' too boring or uninteresting to express their views, one way or another. That is how I feel myself, even though I could not count myself among the more thoughtful members. In the good old days, I used to post a dozen articles or more almost every day and there were some good discussions on some of them. Right now, I probably make contributions once or twice a week and I rarely post any new 'stuff' because there are very few worth posting for so why bother. By the way, I understand and I appreciate your effort. I know that I could not find the time to do what you do and, if I did it and I started my own forum, chances are no one would bother coming. You called what I wrote 'a sucker punch'. This is in line with the current atmosphere at your site where just about all you get is sucker punches and sub-basement-level 'humor'. I suspect that there is a lot of goodwill amongst the more intelligent members to come back and improve the quality of debate here. Obamaphile? Complaining? I am not complaining but I do not, with some sadness, that the quality of the debate at this forum is not improving, to say it very mildly. I suppose there is some attraction in changing a debate site into an echo chamber. The outcome is, to some lesser extent because the physical proximity is absent, what you get when the loud-mouths take over the microphones and whip the mobs into some mindless frenzy. It makes for great entertainment and that is one of the reasons I still visit this site from time to time but you can't call what's happening here 'debate' or 'discussion' and claim that you are serious. Remember Solzhenitsyn's warnings about the dangers of Communist aggression and the weakening of the moral fiber of the West The majority of people were what they called Socialist Revolutionaries, so when the Bolshevik revolution happened, they were labeled that way (SR's) and after the bolshevik government became cemented in Russia, in 1917-1918, Lenin started rounding up all those who protested against anything at all and began to codify the laws to fill the jails. Most SR's were sentenced under Article 58 which seemed to be all inclusive..the Russian people could be arrested for the very slightest imagined infraction, most given a "tenner" (ten years in the gulag) or even shot. Solzhenitsyn: "To put a person into 58 was the simplest of all methods of getting rid of him, to remove him quickly and forever." In the first book, (there are 3 volumes) he lists 31 ways of torture that the zeks (prisoners) went through. I will list several here and under the list, some of the things that were done to achieve those listed goals. Remember that these tortures were when the people first got arrested, even before they could be transported to the "camps" themselves. The interrogators often kept prisoners past their trial dates, even as much as a year. Many died during "interrogation." 1. All interrogations and tortures had to be done at nighttime. (more vulnerable) 2. Foul language. (dehumanizing) 3. Psychological contrasts. One interrogator friendly and the other threatening. 4. Intimidation accompanied by enticements and promises at your family. 8. The lie. The interrogators could say anything. 9. Playing on one's affections and family. 10. Sound effects to deafen the zek. 11. Light effects. Extremely bright lights in the eyes. 12. The Box. A closet or packing case they put zeks in for hours and sometimes days. 13. I was offended and think that was the intent of her Spanish lesson. You can bet your ass her speech was approved by her handlers or the higher ups which indicates that Obama approved. This may seem trivial to some folks but I'm sick of the invasion and takeover through perpetual appeasement that's being assisted by folks sworn to protect the borders. I don't want to hear spanish everytime a speech is given by someone in this administration. Truthfully, I found myself hating even Obama's little speech. It doesn´t seem trivial to me, not at all. I think it is incumbent upon those who move to a foreign country to try their best to learn the native language. That is not to say that many of us could move to China (for example) and learn all the different dialects. But no matter where we went we should make an effort to learn the most commonly used language that the native speakers use. Not always an easy task and never (for most) when they try to do it late in life but it can be done. For whatever it is worth I don´t think America should coddle or cater to the illegal aliens.

I think it’s important to understand that D’s & Rs practice divide and conquer. Vast and his imps are the Democrat version of this equation. They have divided us by class, sex, race, religion, generations and language groups. These multiple constituencies, each bought by some typically unconstitutional government entitlement, keeps the political system in power. Most on 4um have recognized this and rejected it. Vast hasn't. He believes in government and supports it.
