This is Laura Ingalls Wilder's house in Mansfield MO. This is where she wrote all her Little House on the Prarie books.
This house was mostly built by her husband, Almanzo, and almost all the furniture is handmade.
I've only been in it one time. You're not allowed upstairs anymore, which is where their daughter Rose Wilder Lane lived as a child. When she grew up she became a famed libertarian writer, and pretty much ghost-wrote her mother's novels for her.
