The original Hebrew characters below come from http://www.netwaysglobal.com/hebrew/intro.html The significat ones I've colored RED. You will see the importance of these later. SANTA, who is our icon for the upcoming Holiday season, would be written as follows: These Hebrew characters are written in reverse because Hebrew reads right to left. Satan uses the same letters and would be writtenas follows: In either case the numerical values of each name (SANTA and Satan) is 300 + 50 + 9 = 359 359 hummmmmm That's interesting! What is the 359th day of the year? Dec. 25th right? Now let's look at where, in the Bible the name Satan first appears. It turns out that it is in 1Chr.21 [1] And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel. So, to find out what chapter this is we would start counting at the beginning adding the successive chapters to the last chapter as shown below. Hah, now there's some substantiation (Pun?) to what I use to wake up people up when a social situation drags, especially around this time. It usually surprises people, but that's because of the cultural context most think of Santa. Plus, he's a smoker.
