Guess some folks have had enough abuse by people who should never be given a gun and badge or any kind of authority. Most of the people who seek out a job as a cop are the last people who should be one. Give ém a gun and a badge and all of a sudden they have a Napoleon complex and think that the peons should obey their "commands" and have no respect for anyone but their fellow cops. They develop a mentality that it is an "us against them" world and anyone who isn´t a cop is one of "them."
Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest political end. Always nice to see a little good news. :)

pwned A corruption of the word "Owned." This originated in an online game called Warcraft, where a map designer misspelled "owned." When the computer beat a player, it was supposed to say, so-and-so "has been owned." Instead, it said, so-and-so "has been pwned." It basically means "to own" or to be dominated by an opponent or situation, especially by some god-like or computer-like force. "Man, I rock at my job, but I still got a bad evaluation. I was pwned." OR "That team totally pwned us."

I just can hardly wait to see/hear/watch the whining crying bastards who try to destroy everything when the field is overrun with overzealous fans and the cops or guards or whatever flunkies are there decide to just stand by and let them rampage..........and watch all the whining and bitching that 'they' (the cops/guards/flunkies) didn't do their jobs, so they (the fans) demand their money back. All sports could be banned and it wouldn't bother me one bit....people use them as excuses to act worse than animals.

thanks for the explanation. when i first saw it used, i thought it was a typo, but then i kept seeing it, knew it was purposeful, and wondered the origin.
Until the four knuckledraggers went out of their way (repeated severe strikes with the end of a nightstick) to hurt a freak they should have been able to handcuff in .05 seconds, they weren't in jeopardy. After seeing the video, I wish they'd all gotten their heads kicked in - ALL 4 of them.

Well, the first time I saw it that is what I thought too. And that is how it started, just a typo and for whatever reason became popular (not with me but apparenly a lot of people think it is way cool).

The strangest thing about it is that the other guy just drove away, leaving the attacker to get himself in trouble. I can see his point. When other cops show up, the attacker is going to get pounded. The guy who drove away can't get clobbered by the cops!
