All is Vanity See other All is Vanity Articles Title: Progressives” Will You EVER Learn Progressives” Will You EVER Learn by Coral Snake On a recent trip to Robin’s “People’s Forum” site I saw a further sign that those who call themselves “Progressives” will NEVER learn about the consequences of increasing the size, scope and taxation ability of government. This came from a post by Robin herself from a blogger criticizing California’s Proposition 13 designed to keep Property Taxes under control. Basically this blogger clamed that California’s budget crisis was caused by the inability to raise property taxes indiscriminately because of Proposition 13 . (Predictably this post did not pick up a single reply because even self styled “progressives” don’t want to be kicked out of their own homes by unaffordable high taxation which was the situation in California when Prop 13 was put on the ballot. Needless to say Robin’s blog post does not mention THAT part of the prop 13 story.) The problem with “Progressives”, even those independent of the One World State Conspiracy is that they will never seem to learn that most basic part of the science of economics, GOVERNMENT CAN NOT CREATE WEALTH, it can only STEAL it under the cover of legal authority. While some taxation is necessary to keep the type of civilization humans have become accustomed to going TOO MUCH of it is just as detrimental to that civilization as none of it at all. All and all excessive government theft in the form of taxation is bad for the economy in the following ways. 1. It diverts capital from the private sector which is the only sector of our civilization that can actually CREATE wealth. 2. Like “gun control” the ability to tax excessively creates an attitude of arrogance on the part of government officials that leads ultimately greater crimes up to and including GENOCIDE and MASS DEMOCIDE. 3. Especially with property taxation it turns the state into essentially mortgage brokers over mortgages that are permanent and mandatory. Mortgage payments made under such circumstances should be absolutely minimal, period. Well, the “Progressives” may ask if we can’t tax excessively like the European states do than how do we get the cash to finance all of the “wonderful” programs we want to get for you. Our first response to this question should be. Is a program based to some degree on THEFT really all that wonderful. We can indeed say that sum are but many and even most AREN’T. So here “is my idea “progressives”. Why don’t give up the programs that AREN’T wonderful, that have already proven failures and use the money gained from an acceptable level of taxation for new ones that might be. Here are a few suggestions. 1. Gun Control. This failed program was touted as a method of reducing crime by preventing it before it starts by keeping guns out of criminal and insane hands. Has “gun control” done that job, NO. In fact we have more crime and more brazen crimes (like post office, school and even SANTA CLAUS disguise shootings now than in the 1950s when guns could be bought virtually anywhere “cash and carry” or even through mail order catalogues than we have in our “gun controlled” nation of today. Not only that buy far from stopping crimes gun control has a verifiable history of enabling the SUPER crimes of genocide and depopulationism that can only be implemented by States against their unarmed citizens. So instead of excessive taxations I would say that getting rid of ALL “gun control” which is only ONE if the many multi billion dollar rat holes of failed government programs would free up a lot of funds for health care, infrastructure, alternative energy and other programs that modern “progressives” want to try out. 2. Public Education. The current public education system is another monumental failure like “gun control” that progressives don’t want to admit FAILED. That is it failed if public education’s purpose is to teach children how to read, write, figure without a computer or pocket calculator, know the basic history of this nation and the civics of the constitutional republican state, basic science and health maintenance. This is what most people who still support public education think it is for but things like standardized test scores and modern employment resumes prove the FAILURE of public education to achieve even this minimum of knowledge necessary for the maintenance of civilization. Once again “progressives” WON’T admit this but the results of our poor public education system is the REASON a lot of jobs are being “outsourced” to nations that not only allow for lower wages but also where their public education systems teach the BASIC KNOWLEDGE necessary to do those jobs. Therefore I would say that if you “progressives” want health care, infrastructure, and alternative energy programs then public education should be cut back to its original purpose of teaching reading of ALPHEBETIC LANGUAGES (phonetic instruction), Penmanship and writing, Basic to advanced Arithmetic and Mathematics depending on grade and basic history civics and science. This would greatly reduce the actual costs of public education (most public education money is put in psychological, values neutral “Values Clarification”, peer relating, and other nonsense designed to brainwash children into the system of “progressivism” rather than those basic universal academic subjects needed to maintain ANY kind of a civilization be it Conservative, Libertarian, “Progressive” Socialist or whatever. Fractional Reserve Banking and Usury, Here is one area of regulation where I actually think the “progressives” don’t go far to the left enough. Most progressives are for very strict regulation of the banker practice of “FRACTIONAL RESERVE BANKING”, the lending out of non existent “money” at real usury hoping for the usury to make up the difference in the books. In actuality this is one banker practice which should be absolutely BANNED, not just regulated, BANNED! This is nothing but a form of legal counterfeiting and fraud and one that costs lots of money to simply regulate. BANNING IT ALTOGETHER would free up much of the money going down the banker regulation rat hole that DID NOT STOP THE CURRENT FRACTIONAL RESERVE BANKING BASED ECONOMIC CRISIS for use in other programs. I say reducing or getting rid of these three programs alone (there are some others but I’m trying to fit this article into a forum post) would free up the needed funds for health care, infrastructure and alternative energy programs WITHOUT having to steal any more wealth through the taxation system. To the Conservatives, Constitutionalists and Libertarians on Freedom4um. This article supports programs which you may not necessarily agree with, (Health Care, Infrastructure Improvements and Alternative Energy programs especially). This is because it is not aimed at you. It is aimed at any “progressives” still left on these forums after the split to show them how their OWN FAILED PROGRAMS Are keeping them from developing any new programs by any other means by stealing ever larger amounts From the genuinely productive sector of the economy through the taxation system in hopes that they will finally learn the ultimate lesson of the article that the GOVERNMENT CANNOT CREATE WEALTH.

Ever increasing property and other taxes are the direct result of misguided citizens asking government to provide some service, solve a problem or whatever. An example is a tenant who finds something unsatisfactory with the accommodation being rented and who instead of moving to a more satisfactory place, complains to the city. The city, which actually invites complaints, builds up a bureaucracy of health and other inspectors who with the tact of a school-yard bully, direct the landlord to effect a list of remedies so long that the landlord kicks out the tenant and sells the property. This results in not only fewer rental properties but take over of the rental market by much higher-priced corporate landlords who hire costly professionals to look after the upkeep of the rental properties. Clamor by those who cannot afford the higher-priced accommodation results in the city and other levels of government having to provide low-cost accommodation, by of course, increasing taxes. Unfortunately, this cycle can only be broken by a devastating economic depression during which most can't afford the high taxes and the meddling and initiative-stifling bureaucrats have to be purged from the system.
