It has come to my attention that the folks in Brazil are not really crazy about their neighbors, the Argentinians. Here is a popular joke in Brazil, hope you like it.

A Brazilian was sitting having his breakfast in a hotel. An Argentinian comes in chewing gum and sits down near to the Brazilian and tries to start a conversation.

Argentinian: Do you eat the whole slice of bread, even the crust?

Brazilian (not happy about this development): Certainly.

Argentinian: We don´t. We eat only the middle and collect all the crusts in a container, then we process it and transform the crusts into croissants and sell it to Brazil.

The Brazilian listens quietly while the Argentinian insists: Do you eat this jam with the bread?

Brazilian: Certainly.

Argentinian: We don´t. We eat fresh fruit for breakfast and we take all the peels and seeds and rinds and collect them in a container, process it into jam and sell it to Brazil.

Brazilian: And what do you do with a condom after you use it?

Argentinian, We throw it away of course!

Brazilian: We don´t. We collect them in a container, process them into chewing gum and sell the finished product to Argentina.

ahaha, I reckon not. If you are ever in a restaurant in Brazil and hear a raucous conversation and very loud it will most likely be Argentinians. They always think their conversation is important and everyone is interested in it or should be.

Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest political end.
