I have no doubt the purposefully attacked the Liberty. The question is if hey knew it was American and what was the Liberty doing over there. Also the question about being in international waters is a weak one. They were in a war zone. Also if international waters as they are called is part of UN doctrine then it is illegitimate.

It is in international waters, and they knew it was an American ship. One pilot identified it as an American ship, refused to attack, and was arrested on return.

It was flying an American flas, and the sailers waved to the Israeli pilots during flyovers.

Then they attacked, torpedoed the ship, machine-gunned guys trying into life-boats, and only broke off when they thought American ships were coming to the rescue.

Read the Old Testament. Jews have been human garbage for 5000 years. "Israel" has been destroyed over and over in the Old and New Testaments, and will be destroyed again. They deserve it, and I have no sympathy for anything that happens to them.
