Doug Scheidt Having not read this particular book I have no problem admitting that the Roman Empire designed and assisted with great impact the building of the west. The State we call Mary-land was named for the godess they worship in ignorance, and the Capitol Building itself arrogantly displays all of the ROMAN gods without a hint of the baby Jesus' existence. The Capitol is complete with the Fasces and topped off with the Roman goddess of war. The U.S. is the battering ram of fascism. Let's not assume that power always demands destruction or avails itself to unnecessary and open criticism. The U.S. was set up to be the engine and driving force for the absolute expansion leading to total world domination, by some authority yet unnamed, but obviously NOT THE UNITED STATES. Remaining in the background is the M.O. of real power. Warren Buffet and Bill Gates are often described as the world's richest men ... this is bullshit for the bullshit consuming public, of which you must be a part. The old money that rules kingdoms isn't mentioned. The Roman Church is a very large player in the scheme of world events. World (puppets) leaders kiss the Popes ring on a regular basis whether socialists, communists or capitalists. How this empire has beaten, brutalized and murdered society in its methodical and unmerciful attainment of international power is more properly the question to be addressed. How the various participants divide that power remains to be seen, but you can bet your ass the Pope will be vying for the cat bird seat if he doesn't already own it.
