"that was before his silence on gaza, wasn't it?"

It wouldn't help anyone to have a president-elect starting a contriversy about the current chain of command of government. Bush is accountible for his administration, not Obama. Obama's starts noon, eastern time on the 20th of this month.

I support him not muddying the waters, I still remember how deep and lasting a problem Clinton had when he didn't chose his battles wisely upon assuming the presidency in regards to the gays in the military question, even though he was right; gays and lesbians should not be discriminated against.

If Obama does not turn the screws on Israel upon assuming the presidency, this is a different matter. At the very least, the Israelis need a bit of tough love delivered to them.

In the form of a deminishment or ceasing of support politically, and in terms of aid provided them.

They are very wrong in this invasion of Gaza. It won't end the problems they want it to. It will exaerbate and expand it.

No. Because he has made it plain in past statements he has a different take on problems in this part of the world then Bush did.

I would be troubled only had he spoken up and created a contriversy regarding the President-elect acting like he was the current POTUS.

A large part of the reason I like Barack Obama is he has been good at avoiding such pratfalls.

Had he spoken out and created a contriversy that would delay or make harder dealing with the situation there when he is actually in the position to make a real difference, then and only then would he create concern for me in regards to this.

He will be president in just over two weeks. The disgusting apartheid-like system of the Zionist fanatics and it's diametrical opposite, the Islamic fundie that thinks all the world should become Islamic or die have fed and norished each other's blind hatred and intolerences for decades.

It has blighted and hurt everyone else there between their opposing poles of the political spectrum in that part of the world a long time. Waiting two weeks until he is in power sure gives you a smal head of a pin to dance on to support your lament about the President-elect. Really, it would behoove you to wait until 20 January 2009 before condemning Obama for caution about what he says or does as president-elect.

Let's see what he says or does when he takes office. It will mean a world of difference more then what a president-elect says.

Especially one a wounded GOP is spoiling to get into a fight with right at the start of his term of office.

Howdy Tom, hope you are having a great new year. As far as your call to isolism goes, I do not support it. I do not support the current model of global trade that actualy hurts and opresses workers throughout the world, but we need a State Department and commitees in Congress about foreign affairs, because like it or not, we all all on the same planet - all people, everywhere - and this is a fact that will never change.

Hi Mikey, all is well is here, thanks.

I've decided to add a new resolution to my typical menu; no longer will I let unvarnished fascism disguised as liberalism go unchallenged. Time is too short a commodity to permit the supporters of global government a free pass. As for Obingo and his world view, he and his flacks are the enemy of freedom and our constitution. American men and women are homeless, w/o work and deeply in debt. We need protectionism and isolationism from madmen and their schemes, not another "new face" on the Middle East. Foreign wars aren't in America's best interest, as you know.

Errrrr....Mike....by waiting until the 3rd week of January, the Palestinians will be an endangered species. Turning the screws [ whatever that means] on the Israelis at that late date will help the remaining traumatized Palestinians how????

Though Obama can't determine foreign policy now, a speech by Obama at a news conference televised around the world would certainly have Olmert and Livni think twice about continuing the brutality against the Palestinians.

Exactly. You can count on Mikey to have an excuse for every illegal action, or as in this case failure to even comment, and bring some pressure to bear, on the liquidation of a ghetto.

Kind of like when the Warsaw Ghetto was "liquidated".

This is a first order abomination and the Obamessiah is busy "Golfing" and putting his little darlings into their exclusive private school. He's "too busy" to comment on Mass Murder, besides it would be inappropriate like Klinton commenting on "Queers in the Military".

I really hate to inject race into this, but since it is about race (not color) I will.

If the Palestinians were black, and the Gaza, Haiti, this wouldn't be happening because world pressure would never allow it.

For the Palestinians to survive as a people, each family will have to welcome a willing black family into their home. Just as nuclear weapons deter American military intervention (N. Korea), a mixed black nation will prevent further Israeli genocide.

For the Palestinians to survive as a people, each family will have to welcome a willing black family into their home. Just as nuclear weapons deter American military intervention (N. Korea), a mixed black nation will prevent further Israeli genocide.

Blacks....they're better than Aflac.

I had a similar rumination. If the Palestinians were not on land that the Zionists wanted to steal, and another first world military was doing this to anyone - say Haiti for example - and Particularly if they were black Mikey would be having a cow and the U.S. Zionist Controlled Media would have wall-to-wall coverage of the human rights abuses, complete with lib'rul amounts of hand wringing and demands that the U.N. and U.S. do something about it. And of course the Obamessiah would be condemning it - "although I am not yet President I must speak out against this racist attack ...".

We even have an example from recent history - when the Zionists attacked Russia through their "Cat's Paw" Georgia there was outrage when the Awful Russians attacked Georgia - or at least as it was played in the U.S. PsyOps Media. And of course the U.S. Feral Government sent in "defense supplies" to the Georgians (who had been massacring civilians per Israeli Doctrine).

No the hypocrisy here does not extend only to the Obamessiah but it is striking how he is already toeing the Zionist Lyin'.

""I think the subject which will be of most importance politically is Mass Psychology...It's importance has been enormously increased by the growth of modern methods of propaganda...Although this science will be diligently studied, it will be rigidly confined to the governing class. The populace will not be allowed to know how its convictions were generated." Bertrand Russel, Eugenicist and Logician
