Interesting video. If this had been a Jewish woman going up and trying to reason with Muslims she would have been killed. The Jews seem more civilized. For this reason and many many others. I give the woman credit though. She is very brave.

That's fairly true but it wasn't the Schofield Bible and they weren't "Christian" zionists.
Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were deists. Thomas Paine was an agnostic. Most of the other founders (Washington, Maddison, Adams, Jay, Hamilton) were secular Episcopals or Unitarians. All of them were much more influenced by Enlightenment philosophy than by Old Testament myths, and not one of them believed in rapture cult or Zionist nonsense, which had to wait until Scofield's 1909 edition of Bible commentary to start warping people's minds. The notion that this country was founded by 18th century versions of Jerry Falwell and John Hagee is one of the big lies peddled by Fundamentalists.
