To the Editor: For the last 8 years, the liberals have been screaming that “dissent is the highest form of patriotism.” I cannot tell you just how excited I am to show how “patriotic” I’ll be in the coming Obama years.
These folks are going to hold me up as some kind of patriotic idol when they see how much dissent can be dished up.
When they try to take away the second amendment by banning ammunition, they’ll witness epic dissent.
Liberal politicians cover up the fact that in the 20th century alone, more than 56 million citizens have been exterminated by their own governments when “gun control” was imposed on them. Without armed citizenry, there can be no dissent toward a tyrannical government.
In seeking to destroy our hard-fought freedoms and liberty, they’ll be engaged in a dissent tsunami. When socialism is shoved down our throats, children are indoctrinated through public education, borders aren’t secured and “We the People” is replaced by “We the Government” – patriotic revolution awaits.
What is so wonderful about all of this is that we learned these lessons daily and have the blessings of the left to be patriotic. In God we trust. How’s that for a start?
