Adolph Hitler was a pawn and a tool and an enemy of our cherished liberties.

He made a devil's bargain with finance and industry to pull his nation out of economic ruin.

To pay off his end of the bargain, he exploited the basest instincts within nationalism to drag his nation into a destructive war effort that was doomed from the outset, and he trampled the natural rights and the lives of citizens and non-citizens alike into the dirt.

He so covered his name with shame that his own surviving nephews, one of whom joined the US Navy in WWII, refused to have children to carry on the name.

As proof, one can read...I Paid Hitler...by Fritz Thyssen.

Written before the war ended.

Thyssen in 1940, after realizing what he had done in promoting Hitler had this to say...

"What a fool I have been...He would then express hope that his book would be published quickly in America. "I wish I could tell American industrialists about my experiences".

His warning was that Americans not be duped by politicians as he had been duped by Hitler and his handlers.

That's on my reading list.

I just finished re-reading William Manchester's The Arms of Krupp. Thyssen came to regret his cooperation with the NS regime. Krupp did not.

Neither of them paid dearly enough for their work in creating the concentration camp system that became an integral part of the war machine. It was a human meat grinder that provided great profits that went directly into the pockets of these men.

Wish I had time today to chat with you all on this, but I have stuff to do and wanted to show the flag.

Certain posters like to post titles that here that slant the appearance of the 4um. This ain't Stormfront.

His warning was that Americans not be duped by politicians as he had been duped by Hitler and his handlers.

Thyssen was 'duped' because he had 'weaknesses' which needed satisfying.

His 'masters' were very happy to accommodate his 'desires.'

Politics is a nasty game very much akin to the 'pushers' and the 'addicts' who need them.
