Mickey the Pug, who is blind in his shriveled right eye, has calmed down enough to sleep on my lap. Poor thing is about the ugliest pug I've ever seen. But he was a rescue pug, and free for me!

I forgot to mention Mickey has digestive allergies, and I changed him over to a raw-food diet too fast. I just heard a BRRAAAP!!! in the living room. Good thing I have a carpet shampooer, because I certainly needed it just now. Poor dog, no one wanted him, so they gave him to me free. Usually the minimum price is $150, up to $350.
