I didn't go currently but I went last summer, down the Current River in the Ozarks, although this trip was more in the middle of the state. Ha ha! Eat your hearts out! Everyone envies Turtle.

Hey, I float the Buffalo every spring, but the Current River goes through the county I grew up in. I've never floated it in Missouri. Where did you put in and where did you take out? How many days did it take? Thanks
you can have the 90% humidity and triple digit temperatures. been to ozarks many times, hotter than hell in summer, super humid, tons of bugs. its okay for a week or so, but as for humidity its worse than StL.

We only went for a few hours, about four, I think. I can't even remember where we started. Somewhere south of Cuba, that's all I remember. The Current is a slow, shallow, mostly narrow stream. For the most part you can't even call it a river.
