Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, aka Joe the Plumber, is currently in Israel covering the war for the conservative site PJTV.com. When asked what he has learned from his new experiences as a journalist, Wurzelbacher said that he believes the media shouldnt be allowed to do reporting on wars:
Ill be honest with you. I dont think journalists should be anywhere allowed war. I mean, you guys report where our troops are at. You report whats happening day to day. You make a big deal out of it. I think its asinine. You know, I liked back in World War I and World War II when youd go to the theater and youd see your troops on, you know, the screen and everyone would be real excited and happy forem. Now everyones got an opinion and wants to downerand down soldiers. You know, American soldiers or Israeli soldiers.
I think media should be abolished from, uh, you know, reporting. You know, war is hell. And if youre gonna sit there and say, Well look at this atrocity, well you dont know the whole story behind it half the time, so I think the media should have no business in it.

Nehemiah 4:14 And I looked and arose and said to the nobles and to the officials and to the rest of the people, Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.

Joe Plumber and Caribou Barbie were two false flag operations by the neoconservatives that worked out very well.
Both appealed to middle and working class people on image, while on policy being 100% on board the neoconservative wagon. Let's face it, it's hard to sell all out war in the Middle East when serving matzos and gefilte fish. It's an easier sell when there's a "regular Joe" serving apple pie.
Clearly, Joe should stick with unstopping toilets.
Just a thought, but could it be that Joe is no more a plumber than the Israelis celebrating the 9/11 bombings on top of a NYC skyscraper were art students?
Whether he's just a dumb, duped tool or a plant, his all American working class image is the perfect pitch for the neoconservatives. Nobody on Main Street really knows or cares about what Max Boot says, but they all know and love Joe!
I will agree with him on the narrow point of our media reporting location or US troops during wartime. I don't know how often that happens. But I don't think they should do that.
