This type legislation gets submitted from time to time. I've seen it before during Dipstick's first term.

People always want to know what the tipping point is and if this passes this piece of legislation will indeed be IT..

What better time than now that the Savior has arrived. Anyone that is in disagreement would be racist, and Un-American.

Mountains start as molehills.

If the blacks get wind of this, they will demand its implementation. Whitey would not DARE to oppose.

Ohmygod. Dems have a significant majority in the House but if they were stoooopid enough to try to push this legislation through, no Dem would ever be elected to federal office again. This is a serious IT. They'd be lucky to be elected dog catchers in their home towns.

...no Dem would ever be elected to federal office again

Riiight. I'm very sure the voters would just line up to put the Gay Old Pederasts back into office. Oh yeah, the party of Bush, the "Got Ours Party", the Greedy Oligarch Parade, the party that took our ENTIRE ECONOMY and FLUSHED it down the CRAPPER. Oh yes, I'm very sure people will just flock to vote for THEIR candidates anytime soon. Gee, I wonder what their campaign platform will be? "Let's outsource the few jobs that are left, then we'll have prosperity!". Or maybe "Regulations are for wimps, let's have zero government oversight over anything. Let's make life EXCITING again!" Oh! I know! "Elect us, and there will be plenty of wars to employ your kids!" YES! That one is a SURE winner!

Blacks would demand it and whites would dare say nothing.

Whatever your rant is supposed to express I have no idea.

I said that if the Dems pushed this legislation through, they'd damn their future political fortunes.

Do you agree or disagree?

And please forgo the rhetoric and Rumpelstiltskin style flaying and dust up stomp in your next response. Thanks.

I disagree, because the only alternative voters would have would be Republican candidates, and IMHO the GOP is going to be in the political wilderness for at least twenty years. That succinct enough for you?

This different. This is clearly about changing the Constitution, which even the dumbest sots in our nation hold dear [ well, except for 43 sot]. If the Dems tried to push this through, even Dancing with Stars fans would "get it" and be mighty pissed.

Obongo was put into office by Zoros and a host of Zionists. The pubs are so brainwashed from the work of AIPAC they can't see the forest for the trees.

As long as people still believe in the two party system, there will no change.

First they need to realize that the "government" is the enemy, sans that, there is no going back.

No scrappy, I think that the majority of voters (most of who are clueless about the reasons for the amendment) would be told that "The 22nd amendment was passed to keep FDR from becoming prez for life!" and their reaction would be, "Well, Hayull, FDR gave us the greatest programs in the history of the world, (social security, NRA) and that amendment ain't doin' me no favors!"

In fact most voters are as blatantly unprincipled as greedy socialists can be, and as long as their free lunch checks keep coming they'll never rock the boat or bite the (thieves') hands that keep the disposable income for bingo, Winnebago vacations and cruise ship tours showing up in their mail or through direct deposit. (I won't beat up on those who truly need the money, even though they aren't morally entitled to it either)

Oh, sure, some folks may grumble but if their rep's opponent at the next election wants to cut govt spending and implement honest accounting practices that will only send chills up the spines of the recipients who know they're being bought off with other people's money, and young people's future.

I've said this many times before but here it is again: For many years I've conducted a survey of the oldsters in my neighborhood barber shop, and I asked them if they'd be willing to sacrifice their SS checks to save America. The short answer is NO. They don't care about their own kids' or grandkids' futures, or what happens to America "after they die". (They always add that-they don't want to be alive when starvation and winter weather kills millions)

Like I said on another thread, "WAKE UP AMERICA".

As long as people still believe in the two party system, there will no change.

First they need to realize that the "government" is the enemy, sans that, there is no going back.

But, Americans are the least informed and least savvy people of any industrialized country in the world.

And if the govt sends them checks every month, and these same people don't read or agonize over the incredible injustices that principled patriots care about, it would be impossible to convince the average "dummy" that the govt is his/her enemy.

And, thanks to the skillful use of psychological mass manipulation techniques, many of the workers (who are robbed every payday) have convinced themselves that politics is too complex, too dirty, too boring for them and they don't even vote, never mind understand the true dynamics of usurped power concentrated in banksters' paws.

So, sadly, for the majority of voters "waking up" would mean losing their govt subsidies and looking for someone to blame, and the media will point them in the direction of "tax cheats who didn't pay their fair share" (many of whom are armed militia types, who must be disarmed before the problem can be addressed) instead of the real culprits.
