When I got up this morning, it was zero, 14 below with the wind chill. When I started my van, the belt was so cold and stiff it squealed for three or or four seconds. The oil, at that temperature, has the thickness of honey. The transmission fluid isn't much better.
The van was sloooowwww for the first two minutes, then started to warm up.
I live in Missouri, not known as the coldest state.
I can't remember the last time it was this cold. Must have been ten years ago.
What happened to global warming? I guess it's over, an we're back to global cooling. Dang.
Al Gore, you are a complete and utter fool, so shut up.
