I was the white guy with the black Burrberry jacket that you demanded I hand over shortly after you pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend. You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings. I hope you somehow come across this message. I'd like to apologize.

I didn't expect you to crap your pants when I drew my pistol after you took my jacket. Truth is, I was wearing the jacket for a reason that evening, and it wasn't that cold outside. You see, my girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber 1911 .45 ACP pistol for Christmas, and we had just picked up a shoulder holster for it that evening. Beautiful pistol, eh? It's a very intimidating weapon when pointed at your head, isn't it?

I know it probably wasn't a great deal of fun walking back to wherever you'd come from with that brown sludge flopping about in your pants. I'm sure it was even worse since you also ended up leaving your shoes, cellphone, and wallet with me. I couldn't have you calling up any of your buddies to come help you try to mug us again. I took the liberty of calling your mother, or "Momma" as you had her listed in your cell, and explaining to her your situation. I also bought myself some gas on your card. I gave your shoes to one of the homeless guys over by Vinnie Van Go Go's, along with all of the cash in your wallet, then I threw the wallet itself in a dumpster.

I called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cell. They'll be on your bill in case you'd like to know which ones. Alltel recently shut down the line, and I've only had the phone for a little over a day now, so I don't know what's going on with that. I hope they haven't permanently cut off your service. I was about to make some threatening phone calls to the DA's office with it. Oh well.

So, about your pants. I know that I was a little rough on you when you did this whole attempted mugging thing, so I'd like to make it up to you. I'm sure you've already washed your pants, so I'd like to help you out. I'd like to reimburse you for the detergent you used on the pants. What brand did you use, and was it liquid or powder? I'd also like to apologize for not killing you and instead making you walk back home humiliated. I'm hoping that you'll reconsider your choice of path in life. Next time you might not be so lucky. If you read this message, email me and we'll do lunch and laundry. Peace!

- Alex

Turtle had several teenage negroes try to harass him on street ten years ago, and having the typical negroe IQ of 85 or less, it never occured to any of them that Turtle had a pistol, which he pointed at the head of Big Mouth, and all of them turned into pussies, which negroes generally are one on one, which is why they go after people seven to one.

The breed usually attacks in packs. Their typically prey is a solitary mark. Whites in black areas are either asshat liberals or nice folks who are lost. The liberal will not have a .45 Kimba (a most excellent repellent) and deserves whatever fate has in store.

I don't particularly believe in arresting blacks. Most are so dumb they're cloer to animals and so cannot be reasoned with.

First time, the cops should beat the hell out of them and tell them, "Next time, we beat the hell out of you again. Third time, you just might die for pulling a knife or pistol on us."

Amazingly, crime would drop!

Where I used to live, in St. Louis, there was a case where two black teenagers, maybe 19, went through the roof of a pawnshop early Sunday morning, and tried to beat the floor safe open with a sledgehammer and an ax.

I mean, how stupid can you get? It would have taken a year beating on the safe like that.

Both had lengthy records and one had been shot already.

They got back on the roof and two cops were waiting. The first had some brains and surrendered. The second decided to fight and fell and hit his head.

Everyone knows what happened. The cop whacked him with his metal flashlight (the one he bought, not the regulation one in his trunk) and the kid died at the hospital from a fractured skull. And he was fighting the doctors and nurses!

The cop got charged but was aquitted. He showed the jury his flashlight, undamaged. I'm sure the other one was disappeared by his partner.

The kid fell down while fighting and cracked his skull. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

In politics there is no murder.

The Kimbers I fired at the range were highly accurate right out of the box.

Some of the old school pros recommend changing out a few Kimber parts that are MIM (Metal Injection Molding) or, made from powder instead of cast.

But, I've seen no evidence that these parts such as triggers, followers, thumb safeties, etc., are any more prone to failure than cast components.

But, "thanx to the miracle of the internet" if one powder molded part fails then it's around the world in a matter of hours and by lunch the next day the company is hearing that their guns are exploding piles of shit!

I carry 4 variously: S&W 686 stainless steel .357, Taurus 85 5-shot snubnose .38 Spcl, FEG APK II .380 (a Hungarian PPK clone), and an AMT Backup II .380

They've all proved to be immensely reliable except the FEG doesn't like Winchester Silvertips (mega-wide hollowpoint), but it does like Cor-Bon's.

Yeah, me too.

Although my Combat Commander's barrel and slide is 3/4" shorter than the GOVT MODEL, it only shaves one ounce off the weight. And, with all of the after market accessories on it (you know, extended thumb safety and slide release, GPS and TOM MIX emergency whistle and flashlight combo) the weight was just too much! it was like having a brick in a belt holster trying to pull my pantaloons down.

RE; The Defender, I'd fire it at least once just to make sure a mag lip isn't bent or some other invisible-to-the-naked-eye tolerance isn't off that could prevent the gun from cycling.

The history of FEG is quite interesting. (I did the research for a buddy several years ago when he was interested in buying one)

Apparently after the Great War the state of European firearms manufacture was so uncertain that Hungarian Royalty decided to start producing their own firearms, and it's pretty obvious that they copied the Walther PP Patent for their pocket pistols.

I really like my Walther PPK/s .380. It's amazingly accurate first shot (dbl action) is quite controllable and the follow ups (single action) can be all be put through the same hole if I'm careful with my aim.

Maybe a Taurus revolver loaded with low-power .38 Spcl cartridges?

My mother uses a WWII S&W Victory revolver that shoots .38 S&W (also known as the British .380/200) cartridges (they're NOT .38 Spcl's). It's an old cartridge dating back to the mid 1870's that went smokeless in the 1890's.

You can tote a Mak around all day. Just the right weight.

The East German ones are nice. Perfect fit and finish and always cycle. Just a snap to field strip and clean.

The round is not a .45 of course, and it's a mm shy of the regular 9mm in the case, but I sure wouldn't want to catch one of them in a hollow point load.

I really like my Walther PPK/s .380.

Price-point for the PPK pushed me to the FEG. I looked at the PPK's and they're just beautiful little pocket guns, the fit and finish was like that of a Mercedes-Benz on the one I examined.

I need to step up eventually and get a full-bore semi-auto, I'm somewhat of a luddite with my current lineup.

One of these might help:

The detachable box magazine allows the overall length to be shortened. That gun appears to have about a 12 inch barrel, and that's a real crowd pleaser!

My 870 pistol grip setup can be no shorter than the standard tubular mag under the barrel, and the minimum barrel length is therefore 18 inches.

REMINGTON used to make a TACTICAL version of the 870 with a shortened tubular magazine, (CLASS 2 Federal ticket) but the gun only holds two rounds with one shell chambered. it was about the same OAL as the one pictured and was intended for concealment as its first priority.

It had one advantage over a sawed off double barreled-the REMINGTON could be stuffed with another shell without breaking the action open and making the gun inoperable. So, you shoot one stuff one, shoot two drop one in the open action close and then stuff one, and so on....

I remember well how Weaver's modified shotgun was a smidgeon under legal length, which as you know is totally arbitrary and has no technical, tactical or logical reason for the "18 inches for shotguns-16 inches for rifles" restrictions.

It was picked out of the air and bootstrapped onto US V. Miller in 1939 because Miller didn't show up to argue his case (through counsel) and the court saw no evidence of the utility of short barreled shotguns in the trenches of WW One.

Every patriot needs a couple me thinks.

In the 1981 Burt Reynolds film SHARKY'S MACHINE my favorite movie bad guy Henry Silva was a drug addicted assassin who A) crushed up a Diladud and snorted it, B) checked the loads in his sawed off superposed (over/under) shotgun, C) aimed and screamed at the top of his lungs and D) blew the wrong chick away when he saw her block out the peep hole light on the other side of the hotel room door.

I really liked that concealable over/under smokepole. And, if you're gonna be a bad guy then why not be the last man you'd want your daughter to bring home for supper, a real malo hombre like Henry Silva?

Start small and work your way up. Start with a .22, get used to it (It's not loud), and work your way up to a more suitable caliber.

There are devices you can use instead of plain earplugs. They are electronic and block out the loud sounds but still let you hear speech, etc.

I wouldn't say just. This pistol is a nice looking piece of work. Most of the FEGs you see out there for sale now are the PA 63, which has an aluminum frame. Looks like a brick and a nice carry size too. Never seen one pf these before.
