Your musical selection is crapola.

They stand the test of time. 37 years. Every concert from last october is sold out up until June of this year. The two shows in Columbus and Cincinnatti sold out in 15 and 30 minnutes. Then they will tour for another year of sould out concerts playing almost every other day. Number 4 or 5 all time best selling group. Back in Black fourth best selling album in history. More records sold then Elvis. No Beatles never sold as much as AC/DC's Back in Black. No one can touch them. Best guitarist in the world.

I would have never imagined you as a rocker.

So what happened to Angus' guitar, did he break some strings or something?

"The real deal is this: the ‘royalty’ controlling the court, the ones with the power, the ones with the ability to make a difference, with the ability to change our course, the ones who will live in infamy if we pass the tipping points, are the captains of industry, CEOs in fossil fuel companies such as EXXON/Mobil, automobile manufacturers, utilities, all of the leaders who have placed short-term profit above the fate of the planet and the well-being of our children." - James Hansen

Yep, I'm a geezer relatively speaking (I still feel 35). I grew up in the 60s, but this is the stuff I really love.

I grew up in the 60's and 70's, but I like stuff like Pink Floyd, Rush, Black Sabbath, Steppenwolf, Aerosmith, along with newer bands such as SoundGarden, RadioHead, Queensryche, Scorpions, Metallica, and many others.

I've just recently had a new found appreciation for the Beatles, which I didn't like that much when I was a kid.

I'm a big AC/DC fan, people either love them or hate them and I like them a lot. Not too long ago on VH1classic they played their "No Bull" concert from Madrid, Spain. It was great. I read Rolling Stone had the 100 greatest girtarists of all time and they ranked Angus at something like #97, I thought he should have been in the top 5. I'm downloading "let their be rock" right now, that's one of their best songs along with this one.

JT and I both have Netflix and watch films online. This is one we both really enjoyed. The actors/singers are very talented. We loved their renditions of the Beatles' songs and the characters are very appealing.

I watched it a bunch of times on DVD. I couldn't get enough of it, it was intoxicating, I mean, it was REALLY good.

Some years ago I saw a show on tv about how Winton Marsalis (can't spell his name) and his jazz band went to Japan to play for Japanese audiences. He said that he really liked playing there because the Japanese "understand" jazz.

I've never liked jazz, to me it's noise with sounds going in all directions and no beat or melody. People seem to perceive music in their own way, what may sound good to one person will sound terrible to another. I'm one of those who does not understand jazz for instance. I don't like jazz.

If I could go back in time, and be the right age, I'd like to be that age where this was all happening. Alas, I live in this age, and such romantic things no longer exist.

IMO he is not really that good. I like his playing, but still...

Malcolm holds that band together. If it wasn't for him, they'd sound like crap.
