Free speech means that I have a right to express or spew thoughts and words of preference, love, hate, or anything with which another may disagree. That said, the rules or policies of this forum, which is my private property (see this forum's Mission Statement), are that members can exercise free speech as long as they (1) do not make a specific threat against an identifiable person or target, (2) earnestly debate or discuss the relevant issues that are part and parcel of this forum's reason-to-be. First, I should clarify that Rule #1 includes fellow posters. As you all know, I have a very liberal and tolerant free speech policy here. There is no rule against ad hominems or profanity. However, I have noticed of late a marked increase of both to the point where it's become most unsavory and is setting a tone that, I feel, is beneath us as reasonable and mature adults. Other than the two specified rules to which I expect adherance, no one's speech is constrained, so I'm requesting that you please employ self restraint. You know who you are. ;)

I respected Christine's request to own the account you speak of, so I did so. I didn't do so because I wanted to do so. It served it's purpose which was always very narrow in scope. I wanted to get in touch with a couple of folks Goldi's rude and irrational banning of me I could only touch via an account there, and it allowed me to have a bit of fun around election time at LP. Your criticism is noted and I respect it. If fact, for the most part, I have learned all I had to learn from exploring the tactics of opening returning bannee accounts at places like the Free Republic, and part of this being so is because I do recognize when and when now when it is pointless, or a waste of time. Thanks for the feedback, hope mine here to you helped some. I would also point out to that I knew quite well I was obviously being myself and recognizable at the end of that account, I obviously was not hiding.

4um Traitor Heh, I really like Dr. Paul and he would be an exceptional POTUS. I have always always always stated very plainly stainly one, that I do not agree with many of his proposals. I respect his leadership ability, common sense approach to things and he would be better at healing the rifts that divide us as a people, so I was right to support him in the primaries. You wanting to twist my words and wanting to paint me as dishonest and a poser is your problem, not mine. I really lie and respect Ron Paul, and it is your problem you don't see that nor understand why I do, not mine.
I even had John Robinson come into Jimrob's LP thread he started on a visit to blast me. It's always nice to know when they show they care. ;-) In any event, call me a snake, but I do actually identify myself my real name and local. So really, why should I mind if you take issue with what I have done with returning bannee accounts, ultimately I always have owned every one of them as well. Douglas, Wayne Morse, Ron Paul and others for the same thing, the passions they have or had to defend their beliefs and because of their deep personal integrity. I noticed I said I have been a disruption at Free Republic and LP. Then ultimately owned the efforts. I supported Ron Paul in the primaries, and I was disappointed he did so poorly, and see where this lack of support was manipulated. I at no time ever claimed to be a proponent of many line items on his personal agenda, so Rot's whine is pointless. That he does not understand you can disagree with someone yet still like or even support them is in fact the central notion that is the keystone to his personal problems here. Not to mention it is the root as well of his apparent love of the fascist passion to utterly destroy any opposition you might have politically or socially.

4um Traitor I doubt many people believe you ever supported Ron or respect him when you admitted voting for Obama. Obama is the mirror opposite of Ron Paul. You may have never heard this before but anyone who can hold two contradictory thoughts, thoughts which are unalterably opposed, and consider them both valid, is quite likely insane.

Well, you differ in opinion about Barack Obama then I, so I do not share your sense of there being cognitive dissonance to how I ultimately decide whom to vote for in the general election. There was pragmatism to both my support of Dr. Paul and the eventual winner of this election. either man is a perfect fit for my belief system, but I have come to terms with that. I am glad Ron Paul is doing what he is doing. But I am and always have been pro amnesty for illegal immigrants, and other things he likes, I don't. And I never made that a secret. Thus this contrivance of an alleged deceit by me for my willingness to take the leap of faith to support Ron Paul in the primaries holds no water. I would never support a Chuck Baldwin, for POTUS, but any man or woman of deep integrity and personal courage and leadership ability is what I first look for when deciding on someone, not their ideology. And yes, I know that in your world that sounds irrational, but it works in mine.
